No Dizz you weren't wrong sweety, Hyuna was in fact part of Wonder Girls first and had to leave because of health issues and then she debuted with 4Minute later on

Yes! Hyuna WAS in Wonder Girls under JYP entertainmemt but her parents decided to remove her from the grp due to health issues...(chronic gastrocenteritis and fainting spells) she joined 4minute after she recovered under CUBE entertainment, (but she became so popular as an individual and overshadowed the group) Anyways the group disbanded despite their popularity and now Hyuna is Soloist (she definitely has the IT factor tbh)

This was the first girl group I stanned when I got into KPop, wow... now I’m multi trash years later😅. Gayoon was my bias, I miss them😫. HyunA was in both Wonder Girls (JYP Entertainment) and 4Minute (Cube Entertainment). She was also in 4Tomorrow (girl group created in 2009 for the Samsung Tomorrow campaign. The group consisted of 4 members from 4 different girl groups: Brown Eyed Girls, KARA , 4Minute, and After School), Dazzling RED (gg that was one of the one-time units created for the 2012 SBS Gayo Daejun award show, Hyolyn- she was in the gg SISTAR- was also in the group), Troublemaker (duo with Jang Hyun-seng- fromer member of BEAST, they had two comebacks before Hyunseng enlisted in the military and disbanded when HyunA left Cube), and Triple H (with E’Dawn and Hui from Pentagon, they disbanded when HyunA and E'Dawn left Cube). The soloist Sunmi was also in WG as well. HyunA left WG in 2008 and joined 4M the following year. She left Cube in 2018 and is now under Psy’s company (P NATION) with E’Dawn and Jessi. Cube did them so, so dirty.😡 The group reminding Dizz of BIG BANG is probably 2NE1 (CL’s group), they were under the same company as BB (YG Entertainment) and were considered the female version of BB. 4M was kind of I guess always put against 2NE1 in terms of comparisons and stuff. They were like each others rivals is the best way I can explain it.

HyunA started out in jyp entertainment with wonder girls when she was 15 years old in 2007. She left due to health concerns. Then she joined cube entertainment and became a part of 4minute a few years after. The reason why they're called 4minute is cuz they say that they can make you fall for them in less than 4 minutes. The rest is history. 💯🔥❤️

Fun fact this mv was shot and produced by a jlo’s producer pretty fucking cool that’s why this MV came out so classy yet hard

Hyuna first debuted in wonder girls in 2007 then left the same year, then she debuted with 4minute in 2009, then she started her solo career while being in 4minute, then cube formed a co-ed group named "troublemaker" with hyunseung from beast and then in 2016 when 4minute disbanded, she continued to be a soloist and in a duo, then when troublemaker broke up, then in 2018 triple h was formed with edawn and hui from pentagon, but in 2019 they broke up because Hyuna and edawn were fired from cube because of their secret 3 year relationship, then 2 months later edawn and Hyuna signed with psy entertainment

They helped get to where we are today with the 3rd gen. And at the rate kpop is going it’ll only keep growing. And to answer your question DIZZ, 4 minute mean each member will attract and entertain an audience [or person] in 4 minutes or less [the songs are typically always less than 4 minutes [not including intros]] . It also means something like they will do their best 4 a minute or like will perform hard for every moment [minute] they have to perform. Tbh the girls lived up to the name imo.

Cube Entertainment was actually created after the ceo of cube who was employed under JYP left to create his own agency. In doing so he took the girls of 4minute and B2st/Beast who where all under jyp and created his own label. Yes Hyuna debuted in wonder girls a year before leaving JYP. She left a year later after having medical issues with her stomach at a young age. Hyuna re-debuted basically 2 years later as a soloist and a 4minute member where this can be credited as a full time run in a girl group. 4minute basically meant that the girls will captivate you in under 4 minutes. They debuted only weeks apart from 2ne1 and the rivalry between 2 girl crush groups in a male dominated kpop scene as well as female groups who only did sugar gum pop based songs. Like cute concepts however both girl groups are the reason we have such badassery in kpop. Crazy was written by Hyuna; this is her song after 4minute suffered harsh sales over the past years with a declining popularity. This song shot them back up the charts and showed how dominant this group really was. Dizz you mentioned the styling and I just wanted to give a shout out to the main vocal of 4minute Gayoon. She was actually their stylist here as well as their stylist for their hate comeback which was the girls last comeback before disbandment. This group was so hands on with their work man. I miss them so much. I cannot wait to show you the group who really got me into kpop B2st/Beast now known as highlight. Still going strong in Korea. Dizz you also mentioned Big Bang, well thats the power of second generation groups in general; the styling is funky, daring, questionable and just freaking bizarre in most second generation groups but I am here for it because it makes them unique. Even the sound is reminiscent of black culture and or 90s-2000s hip hop and rnb which is why I stan second gen so hard. Theirs a lot of issues with fans and people stating culture appropriation and in some cases I do feel slightly annoyed when I see such things in certain mvs but not in this one people can fack off. Also Khadija im not sure if the others have watched the unpretty rapstar intro I linked a few weeks ago but Jiyoon 4minutes rapper is in season 2. P.S: This is my favorite reaction because I get to be biased as hell right now and because you reacted to the badass queens. Also I was shook when I found out the styling was all Gayoon I wanted to applaud her for making me think about the early 2000's with a modernized look.
