Leenah B I'm pretty sure this is the original version and the Korean version is the 2nd. The Korean version just happened to come out first. But I do agree that Changkyun's rap makes it better.

monsta x's vibe right now is beyond perfection! their quality sound is getting better and better, impossible don't jam with it. i personally prefer "who do you love?" feat. french montana, the sexy concept will always suit them. but i'm so happy you guys reacted to play it cool, this song deserve the same recognition

They had to make a collab with French Montana because they're from the same label Monsta X joined recently. It's obvious they wanted Montana to piggyback off of Monsta X's fame and talent, because he ruined that performance for himself. He forgot the lyrics and there's a rumor he was drunk at the time. He didn't care about it, otherwise he would've practiced. The faces of the Monsta X members are like they were internally thinking: "What. The. F*ck?" lol

Ya'll should have gone to their concert! Their world tour just wrapped up here in the U.S this past Saturday, but they'll be back in Vegas this September for the Iheart festival.

There is the original version of "Play It Cool", which is in Korean and it's also hs Steve Aoki on it. The song is longer and it's on the "We Are Here" album. SO you can check it out and have a blast

This isn’t even close to being my fave MONSTA X song but when I heard it live at their concert in NYC last week, I definitely was jumping up and down! Would you please check out the rookie group from this year, Trei? Trei is a male trio and their main vocalist Kim Juntae has a beautiful and powerful voice! He actually sang vocal guides for BTOB (also vocal kings) and Pentagon! I really recommend their song Gravity (warning: the mv is low budget cause they are from a small company) and their cover of Night Rather Than Day by their older sister group EXID. The youngest member Changhyun produces all of their music and actually wrote Night Rather Than Day! Thank you!
