Ha,ha my son buddy Brett has a van just like that except it still runs,what cracked me up was the interior because Brett does the same with his trash, throws it in the floor.Although his might be a little worse trashed out than the one you guys found. Be safe out there.

Another great trip, looked like lots of fun with some good obstacles. Ya man 100% agree with the trash in the woods comment, if they can haul an toss in woods, they can surely haul it to the regional landfill (that’s what the landfill is designed for anyways 🤔). I don’t know how many times I’ve seen trash piles around an have said the same thing.. anyways yes that power steering would be a great benefit, I’m really looking forward to that on my next wheeler! Thanks for putting this together for us, your vids are a joy to watch! Thanks again buddy! Take care!

Hey ! thanks man, this was really fun trip, my buddy sold his ATV not too long after this though haha and I randomly met the new owner (we were at the same house, doing separate jobs, and he recognized me haha) he basically bought a new machine. Power steering isn't a "Must" on a ATV, but it sure is nice, and once you have it, it's hard to go back lol

Got love fall rid'in !! I really like it when there's tons of leaves on the trail. Nice country to be rid'in in too !! Love seeing Moose at in the wild. But sometimes they just don't hang around for photo's do they ?? HAHAHAHAHA !! Those were some nice mud holes !! As long as you don't get stuck anyways ... .You were really on your side in the mud hole at 11:28 ... probably a good call to do the "Go Around" ... that sucks when people leave their trash or vehicles out in the woods & especially right in the middle of the trail. An 80Km day is a good days rid'in Maritimer, Thanks for shar'in the adventure !!

+GunnyE9 hey man, thanks for tuning in again ! I love fall, something about the changing leaves, no bugs, cooler temp's and watching the bikes flip up all the leaves on the trail, it's the best time of the year for sure. No the Moose don't hang around long, especially seeing as Moose hunting season just ended haha I was really sideways there, I was glad she didn't roll ! lol and Yeah I'm all for going out and having fun, buy a woods truck and smash it up, but don't leave it in the woods, right on a blind hill on a ATV trail.... Idiots all around the world ! haha thanks for watching !!

+Maritimer Hey Maritimer, I enjoy your vids for sure. It's just sometimes it takes me a while to get around to watch'in others vids. So I have a folder i save them all in & watch them when I can. Keeps some cold snowy days from being so boring ... Man I hate that word. Let's just say, watching yours & other vids is better than watch'in the tube, SAVVY !?!? Fall is over here for sure now. I need to get up into the snowy mountains before the snow gets to deep & have to put my tracks on !! Ride Safe & Ride Warm !!

Hey I might take you up on that offer sometime, I don't usually do a lot of deep mud riding, mostly trails, the Big Horn tires aren't a mud tire. haha what do you run on your Popo ?
@slickmongercash7788
@slickmongercash7788 8 жыл бұрын
+Maritimer We don't do the deep mud thing much either, it's just way too hard for these expensive machines. Just regular trails, some creek crossings and mostly the atv/snowmobile federation trails. We got an atv club trail that goes up along side grand lake in the old coal cuts and there's a few meeting/warming shacks along the way, as well as a campground right next to the lake in the Chipman end. There's also the one at the Keyhole down at the main part of the lake past Minto, I believe. There's also all the Irving logging roads that people use around here. Can get all over, even up to Miramichi through them. I'm actually running stock tires until I can justify new ones, so I figure ill burn the stock tires down to the belts by end of summer, though, then I can get away with throwing either some Bighorns 27s or Zillas 27s on without too much guilt in the $$$ to invest. I may not mud er much, but it does get the piss driven out of it haha Just send me a message if you ever bring your bike up some weekend and bring some buddies along. We're a good bunch. Drink a lot once the bikes are parked and listen to tunes.. pretty much all that happens aside from drivin heh.
@Maritimer
@Maritimer 8 жыл бұрын
+Slick VdBuckero we'll sound alike you guys have some pretty extensive trails up there, I was looking at the app iSnowTrailNB (for iPhones) and if you wanted too you could travel all around NB by Sled or ATV using those trails, it's pretty nice app. I have 25" BH (they beasure a size bigger so they measure 26". BUT I wish I would have for 26" BH, sometimes I think they look small haha Oh well, I think I paid around $500 for them from Atlantic Motoplex here in Moncton. Well that sounds like everything I like to do: Biking, drinking and listening to music haha Maybe we could plan something sometime.

+bern trailboss Thank you ! Fall is always the best time of year for riding. and I believe the ATV'ers put that tape on the trees before the van and on the van, to warn other ATV'er that there was something on the trail, it's kind of a blind hill, and at night I think it would be hard to see.

@Maritimer 5 жыл бұрын
Hey John, thanks so much ! I don't bring pepper spray or a gun with me. I really should though. for me to bring a gun, I'd have to have a hunting license and depending on the season... it limits what you can have in the woods. I really wish they would just let me bring a gun for protection, I have a Ruger 10/22 and a 20G double barrel shot gun which is nice for protection.

At about the 11 minute mark, where is that at where you just about got stuck? Is it one of the Trail 1 side trails or something else? Nice to see some footage of Trail #2, didn't look as bad as some people make it sound to be. And that van, that's still there, I wonder if you could pull it off the trail a little more with a few ATVs? I'm surprised someone hasn't smashed all the windows out of it yet.
@Maritimer
@Maritimer 8 жыл бұрын
+alienc3 hey man, ahhh that was the end of trail 1 I believe, it goes towards the road, to that little restaurant, (Patty's Place) seems like a deep hole filled with ruts haha and No trail 2 isn't that bad, few holes but nothing you cant get through, especially with 4WD, and I don't really have mud tires. I'm not sure if the van is sill there, I saw on the ACTB FB page there were guys talking about getting it moved, few guys have some big trucks, and I think with a few bikes you could pull it off to the side, I think it was freshly stuck/broke when I saw it, I could still see his tracks in the mud, so it might have been there a day or two. thanks for watching !!
@alienc3
@alienc3 8 жыл бұрын
+Maritimer Not sure where you went if you want to get there the next time keep going straight on the 1 until you get to a road, it's Fairview Ave. Turn right onto that which should take you to a stop sign. Left there and onto Golf Club Road and at the end Broadview Power Sports and the pub are just to the right. If you need gas you can continue on the Trail past Fairview to the next road (Pleasant St.) Head right onto Pleasant and to the end. A left turn onto the Main St just up the road is an Irving. I now there's a right hand turn you can make along the 1 before the above, that might be where you ended up. That one I believe comes out near the Golf Course which also has a restaurant. We were out today, headed up the infamous connector trail off the 3 along the farmer's field. The huge water/mud hole is still there. The improvised trail along side is very narrow and actually trying the hole I've only ever been able to get near the end and have to winch it out the rest of the way. Aside from that it's a nice trail, as long as you are comfortable with the angles on the parts along the TCH.
@Maritimer
@Maritimer 8 жыл бұрын
+alienc3 Yeah I know I was close to broad view just not 100% sure, I think I went that way on a winter run (hold was frozen) Ohhhh Ok cool, I'll have to check that Pleasant street out on Google maps, see where your talking about, always good to know spots to gas up ! haha I've been to The Hills and had lunch there a few times on the bike, good burgers !! haha I can't picture that hole.... I went along the farmers girls but I don't remember any hole and can't picture the connector trail at all... maybe you'll have to take me out and show me some different trails ! haha

I really do like those Yamaha Grizzlies. Nice ride. Do people just abandon vehicles on the trail like that? Seems like quite an effort to remove something like that.
@Maritimer
@Maritimer 8 жыл бұрын
+mustang1191 hey yeah, I really do believe (maybe i'm Bias) but I think the 700 grizzly is one of the best all around ATV's ever, it has everything, build quality, reliability, 700 Single has good low end and will still do 110 klm/hr (65 miles) top end, 4 wheel disk brakes, diff lock, storage, full racks, stock ground clearance is great, comfortable, it's not the best at 1 thing (going fast, most power, super smooth) but its really good at all those things. and as far as the van goes, the ATV Club contacted the cops to find the owner, and a few guys offered to go in and pull it out with their trucks, couple guys have some nice jeeps with 5.0 mustang motors in them or a cummings, should have no issue pulling that van out, axle or not lol thanks for watching.
@alienc3
@alienc3 8 жыл бұрын
+Maritimer Unfortunately someone probably bought and never changed the Registration over so I feel bad for whoever is the legal owner as they would be the ones liable for removing it. And from there it wouldn't be cheap, unless you could find someone that would pull it out if they can keep it for scrap.

+Maritimer Hmmmmm, I drove right buy Salisbury in 1986 (was on my first honeymoon - lol). Yup, I'm old - hahaha! It was raining so hard we couldn't see the road (#1 hwy) so I pulled over until I could feel my right tires go off the pavement. We sat and waited it out. As the rain slowly let up, I began seeing what appeared to be a large object right in front of my brand new Celica. As the rain became less & less, I could see that we were parked only a couple of inches behind a semi-trailer. I've been in heavy rains in many tropical countries, but that was the hardest rainfall I'd ever been in. I don't recall the exact spot we stopped, but I do recall we were just outside of Moncton (coming in from the West).
