Rivian had announced that the Tesla Supercharger Network is open to all Rivian Vehicles a few weeks ago, but did not provide any info on how to charge or what adapter is needed. Later Rivian sent an email to reserve an adapter but to this day we have not received the NACS to CCS adapter from Rivian. We decided to buy an Tesla to CCS adapter from A2Z and test it at a Tesla V3 Supercharger listed in the Rivian Navigation. To our surprise it was plug and play. It worked great. We compared the prices of the Tesla Supercharger for Tesla owners to non-Tesla owners and to Electrify America. What a surprise. Tesla owners are getting the kWh the cheapest, non-Tesla owners at Superchargers are next and Electrify America was by far the most expensive charging option. We also took the Rivian R1S to an V2 Tesla Supercharger just to see what happens when you plug in there. Lot's of great information in this video for Rivian owners.
