I heard a NY Knicks podcast sum up RJ perfectly: we just gotta accept who he is. He’s not the perennial all-star everyone hoped he’d turn into, but he is still a very solid player. He’s only 23, so there is still room to improve. For him, the best thing would be if he could cut down on some of those forced drives into 3 defenders that results in missed shots and turnovers. Ideally, he’d become a better passer out of those situations. That will improve his shooting efficiency and turnovers and make him that much more valuable.

Excellent debut with a W! RJ has the physical strength to create his shots.. very much like OG. But RJ has better handle than OG. Really liking Quickley to be the starting point.

If the refs weren't on one tonight they would have had more. Just have to adjust to that Toronto Raptors whistle. Every new player traded here always gets into foul trouble or fouls out first game here. OG had the opposite where he left and fouled out but I'd put that up to more him just being a very aggressive defender and getting used to a new defense.
