Happy is a song that she planned to release on her birthday, March 9 as a gift for her fans. Sadly, her father passed away on the day of her birthday so she had to reschedule the release. It was a very heartbreaking time :( It's called Happy but it always makes me cry. You can really hear the warm and comfort from her voice.

I think it's better to watch more of her Mvs before reacting to killing voice in one last reaction video, especially her debut song "I", "Four seasons", "11:11" and "Weekend"

16:50 Yes, basically the MV of Can't control myself shows the almost final and final stage of a relationship, when you show your friends, family, colleagues, etc, that you are fine in your relationship but when you are alone and in four walls, there are constant fights, you avoid each other, there is no communication flowing between the two, to this is added the manipulation (which is represented by the male partner in the MV) that makes Taeyeon have to pretend to the outside world that they are fine, and when she gets tired of all that and exposes how bad they were (when she no longer wears the wig/costume in the MV), the male partner makes everyone believe, colleagues, friends, family, that she is the guilty one/crazy one, that she ruined the relationship (which is not the case because when she wants to approach him to fix it, he avoids her), that's why when she confronts him in front of the public he just lets her do her "shows" against him while stands there, showing everyone that because of her reactions their relationship didn't work out, basically a narcissistic manipulator. What the audience represents at the end when he throws the flowers at her after Taeyeon released her anger/pain/sadness, are the comments, looks, rumors, etc, against her, since as I mentioned before, the male partner managed to make others believe that Taeyeon was the crazy one and guilty of everything wrong in the relationship, that's why every flower (or malicious comment from others) thrown at Taeyeon, generated wounds on her skin, that is, they hurt her internally, that's why she looks "bloodied" and with so many wounds on her body 🥺.

I highly recommend watching "I" before the killing voice since that was her solo debut and one of her most succesfull and popular songs, it's beautiful and ofcourse she sings it there ^^ Other really popular ones to check out are 11:11 and four seasons

Taeyeon has a fantastic discography. She's really explored a lot and her ballads are crazy good. One of the few artists where I love the besides too. Other snsd members have fantastic solos too like Tiffany, hyoyeon and seohyun

The guy in Can't Control Myself is an actor. His latest drama is Revenant if you watch k-drama. Maybe because of that you feel familiar 😂. You should watch Starlight before Why. -“Rain” is the second song in her soloing. Her first song is “I”. Fun fact, “I” is Na in korean, “Rain” is Bi in korean. Nabi in korean means Butterfly, that’s synbol of Taeyeon😊 - Why have relate with Starlight- the Mv released before. -Happy, yeah like many comment below, She would love to release it on her birthday. Sadly, her father passed away at the same day 😢 -Can’t Control Myself yeah that’s her story. I don’t know it was bad behind her relationship at that time or not. But when the relation public, “his” fan blame on Taeyeon (when the girl take off her wig, social media just talk bad about her) Throwback the day Jessica left, people blame on Taeyeon also. As a Sowon, I feel bad for her, our kid leader, cause after all, that’s not her fault. I just hope you guy support her more. Her friends suicided (Suli, Jonghyun), her relation went bad, her father passed away,… You know how strong she is right ❤

One of the reasons why Taeyeon stopped writing songs for her album years ago is because people like to associate it with her past. She's very sensitive in showing and expressing her ideas, emotions, and thoughts in her songs. She co-wrote CCM so I think she's starting to be more comfortable now.

why is the connecton of another song of hers called starlight ft n starring dean, boy who passed away in this mv is also dean, theres a whole theory behind it but i forgot it but can someone explain it haha

I don't think Dean passed away. The way I understood it, someone unknown she was close to passed and left her a bucket list of things to do, so she wouldn't get depressed. That's what she crosses off during the Why MV. One of the items on the list 'Dog' is the hotdog vendor, there she meets Dean and the Starlight MV happens. While she's with him she gets a a message on her pager (during Starlight) which leads her to the memorial on the beach seen at the end of Why. She leaves photos with Dean and various other stuff to let the person who passed know that she is doing well, and she walks away looking pretty happy.

At the risk of starting a fanwar, I suggest you look up Taeyeon's dating scandal way back in 2014 to better understand the MV for Can't Control Myself. Remember this particular detail: when the audience threw roses at her and her partner, she was the only one who got cut.
