Onew, Key, Minho, Taemin and..... (Jonghyun) - that's the meaning!

It's a gift for fans for their 15th anniversary! They actually paid for the video production themselves, outside of SM. I believe Onew was able to record the album and film the mv but won't perform on music shows and concerts, he's been active on sns though, he did a poetry reading yesterday! The pleated shorts are cute! Minho really showed off his voice on his solo EP, did you ever have a chance to listen to it? The and... is to include Jonghyun as much as they can. Taemin let spill that while this first mv will sound very SHINee the title track will be old-school hiphop!

I feel like it's them finding something and also abt their solos. Onew finding his sound (headphones), Key finding his taste (throwing away apples after tasting them), Minho finding his way (map), Taemin who is there but in dilemma or somewhat lost? The coloured plastic bags is their solo albs. First Taemin, then Key (pink is his official colour) then Onew, (green is his official colour). It's in the seq of their solo debuts. That's why TaeKey are the first in the circle (n I think Jjong is ref as the radio/music player). Then Onew joins n they're together waiting for Minho. In the end, what they were searching for, they find when they're together. The big plastic bag bursts open, and it's all colours not just their individual colours. Then key smiles biting into the apple, Minho looks away from the map, Taemin from the sky, Onew smiles listening to his headphone. So Key found his taste, Onew his sound, Minho his place n Taemin isnt lost anymore. Then they all look at the sky (I believe it's for Jjong) and cont running together, being happy. Minho joins them in the circle, when the five of them are together (yes the radio), light shines on them or they create light or they're at their best when they're together.

This is my first comeback with SHINee too! Very excited

my favorite part of this video is the map that Minho shows off through the song gets bigger and bigger each time. It represents SHINee World and how it's grown over time. It's so thoughtful. The map references all their albums and songs.

I keep crying amidst the smiling because Jonghyun would go off on this song. The adlibs would be insane! And yes, Minho's lower register is everything, along with Key and...Onew's? insane high notes when they sing Alive. Minho's Chase album is gorgeous...

SHINee's "The Feeling" is a pre-release track as a gift to Shawols for their 15th anniversary, which I am pretty sure will be included on their 8th full length album Hard, set to be released June 26. How I interpret the lyrics is that the song is all about how the members want to feel our light shine on them again and they want to illuminate us with their light again. They are also making a point to let us know that we will always be together shining in each other's lives. One of my favorite lines of the song is, “I’ll be the light you seek even in dreams. Running parallel and right next to you.” Which clearly shows the bond between SHINee and Shawols. All the references in the MV have to do with SHINee's history over the past 15 years and what they have accomplished as a group and as solo artists, etc. For example, the map Minho has is a map of SHINee's history up until now including all their solo debuts, and the shot of the 5 apples falling on the No. 5 represents how they are always 5. I also interpret the "and..." as their way of including Jonghyun and Shawols in on their journey, saying SHINee wouldn't be SHINee without either of them. In the MV you see references to their solo journey, such as Onew searching for his sound, Key searching for his "taste" by taking a bite of the apples, Minho finding his way with the map as he explores where SHINee has been and where they will go in the future (Notice how the map starts out tiny, and at the end it has become huge -- every time they show the map it has grown 5 times larger -- representing how their map is constantly being expanded as they accomplish more and more in their careers and lives) and Taemin appears kind of lost as he searches for the right path. I see the plastic bags represent their solo debuts, as well as their connection as a group. The first person we see is Taemin because he was the first one to debut solo and his official color is yellow, then we see and hear Key who is the next of the 4 to debut solo and he is represented by the pink bag because his official color is pink, then Onew is represented by the green bag because his official color is green and the blue bag represents Minho. Some have also said they think Jonghyun is represented by the radio (FYI, his official color is red). In the end, what they were searching for, they find when they're together, which is represented by the big plastic bag floating in the sky, which some say is pearl aqua color, SHINee's official color. When the big bag explodes it releases all of the colors together, representing how they come together as a group, no longer individual bags. Next we see Key smile as he bites into the apple, Minho looks away from the map, Taemin smiles as he looks into the sky and Onew smiles listening to his headphones. I interpret the meaning as Key found his taste, Onew discovered his sound, Minho found the place where he feels most comfortable as a member of SHINee, and Taemin is no longer lost. Then we see them all looking up at the sky, which, yes, we think is them looking up to heaven and acknowledging Jonghyun's presence as the sun that shines down on them. We also see them happily running together, being free and living in the moment. In the end, we see Minho complete the circle, which I see as representing the fact that his solo debut completed SHINee's legacy. At the end we see the five of them together, with Jonghyun represented by the radio, as the light shines on them. We see that when they are together they create a light, which shows that they are the brightest when they are together.

The way they always try to include Jonghyun 💙 You can even notice it in the way they leave gaps in the middle of their group shots.

It's totally related to everything what SHINee have gone through.. Their solo albums puzzles (ace, base, face, voice, chase) their journeys and their hardships etc. I love them so muchh

It's an anniversary video that was made as a gift for shawols, not a pre-release.

This comeback (anniversary video) made my heart so happy. To me the lyrics of this song mean that the boys want to feel our light shine on them again and they want to illuminate us with their light again and we will always be together shining in each other's lives. I also loved the little bits in the MV like the map Minho has is a map of SHINee's history up until now (including all their solos) and the shot of the 5 apples falling on the number five to reassert that they are always 5. I also interpret the "and..." as their way of including Jonghyun as well. Welcome back boys!!! We missed you so much!

Onew did shoot the music video and all the promotional album materials, so we'll see him there. :) Along with the concerts, he won't be promoting on music shows, which are each a very difficult, all-day-long filming affair, or in any variety content. He's been posting on IG to assure fans he's doing okay. Let's hope for a swift recovery!
