RM only works with the best so now LITTLE SIMS( British rapper,) is now known across the globe.. .. Are you addicted yet? To that feeling just before you start listening to a new RM track... that anticipation because you have absolutely no idea of what might happen. You need to listen to RM multiple times. He's not disposable pap.

Supposedly the MV is inspired by the Japanese movie Monster, but I haven't watched it. The dissonance in the music and the visuals are totally unnerving and low key anxiety inducing, lol. Like you said, intense!

I love how the time signature is hidden and then revealed on this track. For Little Simz, you might have heard her song ‘Venom’ but if you like this flow I would also recommend checking out ‘Gorilla’ which she referenced on her verse. The song itself is about fake friends (rm’s verse) with simz’ coming in to be a real friend. I’d say the video ending means he won’t leave a friend behind even if it means braving the chaos.

Little simz verse just hit a certain spot. I love this song so much, one of my favourites. It might just be second in my ranking but the ranking keeps changing and now I've lost track.

On the album nuts flows into the next song out of love and that genuinely hurts me because I cannot listen to nuts separately and out of love is not on my top 5 (I'm pretty sure you and most people are gonna kill me for saying that) but the transition is soooo good. The production in this album, I will never stop talking about.

Totally agree, I LOVE her verse! I never heard of Simz before but I'm about to get deep into her discography after this. Also the transitions on the album are just amazing, it's actually hard to take the individual songs out of context because they make up such a cohesive piece of art together. One request - I know the term 'spazzed' is really common slang in the hip hop community, but I think a lot of people don't know it's actually an ableist slur for people who have spasticity and can't control their limbs in a normal way. 'Spaz', 'spazzed', 'spazzing out' etc. come from insults against those people, and even if it's used to mean something positive, it's still a slur that can't be reclaimed. One of my friends has a condition with spasticity and she asked me to educate people, so I hope once people understand they will take that word out of their vocabulary. Thanks for listening 💜

This is my interpretation of the song. I think it’s about all the fake people or fake friends. In the beginning we see kid A ride up with young RM to wherever it was he was going to. But just let rm go through all those struggles by himself, he didn’t go with him. Whereas kid B went through all the struggles with him. And when RM got out, kid A was waiting for him to enjoy the success. Rm realized kid B was the true friend and that’s why he went back. I think kid A can be the SK government or some people around RM that will pretend to be best buds, then throw him into a lions den. Then wait for him to come out and celebrate together as if they had anything to do with it. This is also mentioned in groin where rm says “get out of the trunk” which I think he’s referring to all the people trying to ride on his coat tails

Little Simz was such a great collab for RM to get, she’s a fantastic UK rapper. She’s always impressed me and you should check her out. Her song Venom went viral a few years ago. The song makes me reflect on friendships.

i also love how watching the mv feels like watching a horror film bc the chorus also has this ominous/creepy vibe to it. this whole album is very experimental and its what makes it so good.
