Not just young generations I'm 61 Japanese. BTS their music as messages effect me a lot. They gave me new life specifically my age a lot means. Sorry my English.

Because of Namjoon my standard of men has gone higher and I blame him for myself being single until now hahaha

I'm happy to hear RM's speech. It's hard to embrace all of my mistakes and faults. Sometimes I want to delete them because they make me feel embarrassed but those mistakes and faults are one side of me. I usually let others speak because I don't know what is right and I dont want to be someone who is wrong. I want to be a good person and I think the only way to be that person is hide my faults and do nothing not to make another mistake. However BTS make me try to embrace all sides of myself. They say its okay to lose sometimes, to stop a while, to have any kinds of dream.. and I deserve my life whatever I am. So happy to know them:)

Every time I watch UN speech my tears dropping non stop 😂😂it's not sad tears but felt touchy to his words. There's some one inside of me screaming for attention which I shut down pieces of me n forgot those pieces of me as if im sleeping on them bcs I'm ignoring the losing piece of me. Hope I can reach out to the losing pieces self me n embracing for good with strong self appreciation n self motivation. Speak out for own life n destiny. We responsible to our own life n other doesn't become the whole reason to stop u doing things for urself even though realistically there's reason that u can't ignore which might influence ur life choices. No matter what choice to be make under what kind of circumstances we need responsible to choices that been make. Finding identity is such journey I don't know if I ever be the one I look up but I hope I can be happy to my choice n fight for happiness that I deserve instead of self punishment for the bad consequences from my choices. Keep the faith n embrace the positivity ☺👏👏 fighting all ❤ 👏 👏 never losing hope is the key to our fight for better life .

Its so amazing seeing people not only be fans of the band, but be fans of more than the music. Yeah, obviously thier music is inspirational, powerful, and meaningful, but theres more to BTS than that. Theyre all just normal boys from Korea, and they all feel the same things as us, heartbreak, self hatred, and world issues as well. Im so so so proud, to call this band, and this man, Kim Namjoon, my idols. They inspire me more than any person in my daily life ever has. Each of these boys have a story like us, and thats what makes them just as normal as us. Kim Namjoon is truly my inspiration, and truly the love of my life in the sense that hes made me feel more normal and safe than any other person has. UNICEF, made a great decision partnering with them, and I know these 7 boys will continue the amazing work they do with this amazing platform they have. Namjoon speaks way better English than I ever will, and English is my first language, and he learned it from Friends! His IQ isn't 148 for nothing lol. And, on a fangirl note, IM SO GLAD YALL ARENT SLEEPING ON MY NAMJOON HE DOESNT GET ENOUGH CREDIT FOR HOW AMAZING HE TRULY IS I FREAKING LOVE THAT MAN

I actually watched the live UN #Youth2030 from the start till the end tho it's so late here in our country... And I'm just so happy hearing a lot of things, stories and visions for the young generation of today and the future from different people across the world. And I'm just so proud that RM as a representative of BTS was one of those...they're able to share their positive messages in another way..

I feel like I've personally been saved by BTS. Like I've been inspired. There have been so many times in my life where I've thought about giving up, especially in the past five years when I've developed PTSD and am chronically ill, it's really easy to just make the decision in my mind that life just isn't worth it. BTS are really something special. I'm so glad I've gotten to know them.

I was waiting for your reaction to this. When Namjoon delivered this speech it was almost midnight on my side of the world and i was groggy from sleep. But it didn't stop me and i listened intently as he delivered his message. And his message resonated within me and moved me to the point of tears. It struck a chord within me because i can relate to the times i tried to live up to society's standards that i am slowly starting to lose myself. I am thankful for BTS' existence. Their music and the message they communicate (regardless of language) reach a lot of people. I'm so proud of what they have achieved.

It took me a long time to respond. First of all I got a litle destracted by your babies at the back.😊❤ I cried when I first heard Namjoons speech. I so much wished I'd met them when I was 15. I was so lost back then. What a wise speech. And so glad they had that platform for theire message.

You could tell from his speech that Namjoon is a poet. He's a poet every day, who puts poetry to music, and makes his words resonate within the hearts of fans like us all over the world. It was beautifully written and passionately delivered. You couldn't really tell that he was as nervous as he said afterwards that he was. There were a couple itty-bitty flubs, like he swallowed the last few words of a sentence two or three times, and I THINK he switched the word order when he said "And now let's TAKE ALL one more step".......that sounded a bit awkward......I think he meant "......lets ALL TAKE one more step....." Really no big deal. Could be just a translation thing, like maybe that grammatical order would be correct in Korean. Overall, it was a brilliant speech! His words were so full of love and hope for BTS fans, for non-fans who are now curious about BTS and may become ARMYs, for just people all over the world who need encouragement and compassion and hope and heard these words from him. Not all of his intended audience would have tuned in to a U.N. speech, but they may have seen clips of it on TV or watched reactions to it by KZfaqrs such as yourselves, and now because of his message want to learn more about BTS. And won't they be amazed?! The BTS catalogue is so full of incredible music, lyrics, choreography and performances; it's like being presented with a massive feast of delicious things you never realized you wanted or needed, and now you can eat your fill. I know that sounds a bit cheesy & corny, but that's my take on this experience! The concept of SPEAK YOURSELF seems to naturally follow LOVE YOURSELF (name for a new album??), but it's full of self-confidence to speak your name, express your passions, have faith in yourself, tell the world ho you are. And maybe, if young people can feel this newfound strength and confidence, they will stand up for themselves and be less likely to become victims of the violence & abuse that sadly affect so many around the world. I'm SO PROUD of BTS for using their worldwide recognition and fame to project something so valuable and needed in this day and time. Their butterfly effect, their ripple in time, will I hope come to touch many lives and make positive changes in our world. I was so upset by by the insulting words said by that one news anchor; did you see that? Referring to BTS speaking at the U.N., he just shook his head and chuckled "A Korean boy band?" Like they were a group of performing monkeys or something, and it amused him. So cruel and insensitive, and for what? The video of this said that he may lose his job. I haven't seen anything else about it, but once was enough! NAMJOON FOR PRESIDENT! (Just watch him, 10-20 years from now!)

Yes, sadly he got the most least viewed vids over other members but still I adore him so badly, I just really want him from the very start. His intelligence makes him so hot, His thoughts, His speech his messages. All of him I just madly love him. I am in love with the person he is, not just an Idol but a man and a human. I think BTS is different from other idol singers. If I hadn't known BTS, I would have made a bad choice with terrible depression and a lot of injuries. I didn't want to be alive anymore.The only light that helped me get out of my pain was BTS' song. Their message is special. I'm trying to love myself little by little. Like a message from the BTS. I listen to this song often these days. Answer: Love Myself. I cry whenever I hear it.
