Rick does some stuff I would not want to do like the one with Dr.Popsicle but then he gets access to really cool stuff too. Thanks for trying all this crazy stuff and sharing RMR.

Ironically, that tunnel runs under Stanley Avenue, which has an intersection with Highway 420. It is the last 400-series highway before the Canada-US border in Niagara Falls.

Hydro power is not enough to power Ontario!
@fakeologist12 жыл бұрын
@@BasementEngineer sure it is
@BasementEngineer2 жыл бұрын
@@fakeologist1 Nuclear supplies about 60% of Ontario's electric power requirements. Photovoltaics and wind, perhaps 10% or less. Natural gas fired plants say 5%. That leaves 25% for hydro power. Since this is the least costly option, kindly explain to me why more of this inexpensive option is not utilized. Thanks.
@fakeologist12 жыл бұрын
@@BasementEngineer Nuclear science is alchemy. It's not real. Please do a search and find out the only reason they don't make it THE solution everywhere is because it DOESN'T EXIST. The best guess is the units were used as dump load plants, boiling off excess power that the grid couldn't use.

So this tunnel runs from Canada into the states and back?I can’t see any more on actually turning it on so it would be hmmm an underground tunnel in sketchy Niagara. Anyone have more info please say I’m wrong

Do you realize that they let the water go past in the summer to pay for the solar panels that Wynn subsidized .Niagara hydro can produce hydro foe 3 cents per KWH and Wynn pays 60 cents foe solar

@phantomkate65 жыл бұрын
It's a live audience, not canned laughter. Tickets were free and always got snapped up quickly.
@tes4205 жыл бұрын
phantomkate6- you are a moron if you think that is not a laugh track 😂
@djhrecordhound43913 жыл бұрын
@@tes420 Really no, but yes...maybe. I'd been to other CBC show tapings, not RMR. For each segment, Rick filmed a LOT of footage, and it was heavily edited to show to the live audience. They'd run that video in front of the audience as part of the live taping. Then for faster pace or timing on that RMR show, the live audience reactions could be edited further to what you see on TV. That's where it could come off sounding "canned"
