The terrifying thing about Slade is that Robin couldn't even kick Slade's ass in HIS OWN DREAM. Not even in Robin's own dream can he win.

You know what's crazy? If Robin hadn't been so determined to do it himself, he could have called Batman up. Batman definitely has the resources to figure out Slade.

The toxic dust that made Robin hallucinate is most likely an callback to Scarecrow, one of Batman’s dangerous villians who is well known for his fear gas which literally gas that makes his victims hallucinate their worst fate so if you guys think about it, Robin’s worst fear is that he won’t be able to be strong enough to defeat Slade for good

That episode when Robin was hallucinating? That was highkey scary. Slade's speech there really can't be done justice.

Imagine how cold you have to be to where your robot--not you, your ROBOT--prevents their enemy from falling to their death just to keep whupping their ass. Slade had to program that into the robot somehow. He literally infuses his own androids with his black air force energy.

What's really crazy about that Terra gaslighting scene, is that when Slade said he was watching her, he literally mentioned that wherever Terra went, disaster followed. I'm talking avalanches of mountains, mudslides, earthquakes. Like he did a lot of research to show that he knows better and that her teammates will not be your friends if you they knew how much damage you've done to many other areas. I think that was part of the reason she didn't like the fact that they knew, because if they knew, she has to explain all the damage she's done in her lifetime and that wouldn't make her out as a hero. And that's if I'm remembering this correctly...

Slade represents every anime/cartoon villain that makes the main protaginists lives a living hell by beating the breaks off them every fight they get into, living inside their head 24/7 rent free and has a big issue with them being happy for 0.01 second (Sephiroth with Cloud for example) Also, that was the exact same question I asked when Slade took over the city and Trigon conquered the earth. Where the hell was the Justice League all this time? Were they trapped in Apokolips fighting Darkseid or something?

So basically in the adult animation, Terra is saved by Slade and she basically tries advancing towards him even though shes young as heck. And Slade allows it because he wants to use her
