Vance as VP is not good for Ohio. We got rid of Rino Portman and got Vance. We also have the chance to get Democrat Brown out this year and we could have been 2 Red Senators. But DeWine would absolutely appoint a Rino to replace Vance. Who would probably lose in the next election. We might have 2 Dem senators here because of this, like what happened to Georgia.

I don't know Vance's political career, but he's from a small town, dying-region, working class background. I liked his book a lot. It reminded me of my dad's upbringing. Fairly common sense. Of course, that doesn't always translate to later in life, but I think he has been operating as a populist, just maybe not the most vocal or hardlined. He's also a fairly new politician, so I would imagine Ohio won't appreciate losing him so soon.

Tbh, this is better than the two other rumoured VP candidates, one being the infamous Marko 'Little Marko' Rubio, who spared with Trump in 2016 and was a never-Trumper like Mike Pence. This is a similar pick but a little better. Fingers crossed Vance wont do a Pence on Trump! I would have preferred Vivek personally.

Listening to JD Vance, he certainly had the wits to counter the fake media. Many said he was too strong a personality for Trump to share the. Iimelight with. Never thought Trump that shallow. A bit concerned when I found out he was previously never Trumper. But the young can make mistakes. Time will tell.

I was prepared to be disappointed by the VP pick… and I am. It’s rather “meh.” As I think back to this past weekend and what happened, would I want Vance to become president if something happened to Trump? No. Establishment got their pick. Perhaps Trump just tried to choose the best of the worse in order to negotiate with the establishment? Don’t know but if this is his art of the deal, I’m unimpressed with the results. He could have and should have done better.

@ddaycobra try to meet with Mark Kaye from Jacksonville. He used to fill in for Herman Cain on his daily radio show. He loves Trump. He does a lot of charity work. You and him could have a very good business relationship and have an even bigger influence on culture. He's there in the press pool as well.

This was a terrible pick and stopped it from being a clinched election. Vance brings nothing to the ticket. Absolutely nothing. This was another decision by the Fredo Trump son, Trump Jr., who picked Pence last time. Should’ve been Vivek, Carson, Tulsi, or Donalds. Trump bent the knee unfortunately. I’ll still vote for him, but I’m incredibly disappointed by this pick. Vance literally was an anti-Trumper who called Trump Hitler in the past. This isn’t good at all. Even if Trump wins, if he goes down, we have another Bush/Rove/Romney in there. Period. Trump screwed up big time. This won’t bring in independents whatsoever.
