Just had mine installed two nights by a plumber and every symptom you describe applies directly. I’ve left him a message to return and check the flow restrictors and tank pressure. Side note: I also have a whole house filtration system that is iffy at best. My drinking water looks like weak pee and the company that installed the system offered to clear up the water colt by installing yet another tank for tannins……to the tune of $6500. Even not operating quite correctly this RO system has cleared the water color completely for less than $600.

So I have the same system in the video. My tank is holding water but the air gap keeps getting louder and louder. For reference we have a whole house filter and water softener on our house line before the RO. Anything I can do to quiet it down?

Hello there, I wanted to know, if i don't connect the drain inlet and outlet under the air gap faucet and have the RO drain connected directly to the ABS, will water come out of the inlet and outlet port once the system is active, thanks!

I just had a newer one installed about eight weeks ago. I am getting a vibration sound when it's not running water. Sounds like my garage disposal is running...🤔 I don't hear it all the time but it does it quite frequently, daily I would say. No leaks, can't see any leaks or moisture, can't feel any air pressure coming out anywhere. 🤣 sounds amazingly stupid I know, but any ideas...?

Hi. I enjoyed the video. I have the same system. It's about 3 months old and is now making a bunch of noise (but the tank still fills). I was going to try replacing the flow control but cannot find it readily available anywhere (Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon). Any leads on where I can find it? (There are GE part suppliers online who want $15+ for it and it will take a while to get. I'm looking for a better option.) Thanks!

Could also be a faulty check valve letting water back through the system.

hi. if i fill 2 to 3 glass (each 3dl) with water the system starts to make a noise. it's like when you leav a tap open letting the water flow and as it slowly goes down the drain. my parents have a RO system just like mine but theirs never makes that sound. it goes on for like 5-10 minutes and then it stops. do you have any idea if thats normal and if not how to troubleshoot/solve the problem
