OBS removes the cursor, I can give some tips, I have a copy pasta somewhere lemme find it real quick.

1. IXA has fairly low mobility, so practice your dashing. What I mean is, be more unpredictable and dash around in different patterns. This will make you a harder target to hit. Additionally, you can use the melee e to get around very fast as well as dodge attacks and pushes from enemies. Make sure to also use the urie quinx for an extra dash. 2. Use the gimmick r repeatedly to force your opponent to have to constantly dodge and reposition. I find this much more useful than the melee r which forces you into a long animation that can easily be countered if used improperly. Gimmick r also helps me predict enemy movements more easily as they are forced to dodge one way or the other, so you can aim your gimmick F accordingly. 3. Practice your gimmick f aim as it’s basically your main sources of damage. Very low 1.5 second cooldown, incredible range, and a fast activation makes this ability just really good overall. The biggest thing with ixa aim is prediction as the abilities are slower than say owls range mode, but also aiming ahead of where the enemy goes will take advantage of the lasting hitbox. You basically want them to run into your F. 4. Avoid using Melee F for the most part, it’s absolute garbage. IXA is mainly range spam now. 5. Practice your blocking. Ixas block is longer than normal so it can take time getting used to and using to right. Also, while you are holding block, try sliding out of your shield and using gimmick f at your enemy. Sliding out and then back into block will help you fight against ranged opponents. 6. Fighting Melee Opponents: Play a little more passively against melee rushers such as takis and ginkuis. You want to maintain distance and mostly use your gimmick r and f. I recommend not using gimmick e (as much) but rather keep your melee e ready so that when you notice the enemy pushing towards you, you can dodge accordingly(try to mirror your dodge with the exact moment they rush in). 7. Fighting Ranged Opponents: Not every ranged enemy is the same, so you’ll have adjust your playstyle slightly depending on what you’re fighting. Against sss owls and kosshis, you’ll want to dash in zig zag/side to side patterns and jump frequently to help you avoid attacks. Also block a lot. Kosshi lacks a lot of mobility but watch out for their r move. With owl you want to maintain a medium length distance. Don’t get too far away or they’ll have the advantage. You want to get somewhat close and overwhelm them with your gimmick mode attacks. Against weapons like Kaika and Kajiri, it’s best to mostly stay at range. Kaika’s slow moving projectiles are easy to dodge the further you are. Kajiris will not be able to use their f much as long as you keep your gimmick r ability active, and make sure to pressure them constantly with lots of gimmick f shots. You’ll mostly want to keep your melee e ready to dodge against both kaikas and kajiris as they have large aoe abilities that sometimes can’t be avoided with normal dashing.

Had to edit the tips a bit cus I made it back before ixa got nerfed again lol. Should have covered mostly everything, but tbh I haven’t been using ixa a whole lot in the past few months so might have missed something, just lmk if you need more specific tips.

Currently I’m running 2500 durability and around 3200 quinque but I was a lot more glassy in this video, I think 1500 durability and 4200 quinque

yeah, it was much better before but now it's not that good, i think the ixa, the high end quinque should be like it was before, just bring the old F and it already would be better

Nah I never use shift lock with IXA. Even though the mouse aim got a little worse after the update I recommend staying away from shift lock cus it’s still worse than mouse aim. The only thing shift lock actually works well with is the new melee F however that ability is complete trash atm so you won’t want to use it anyways.

Nah I never use shift on Ixa. Although currently IXA doesn’t track your mouse cursor nearly as well as it used to, but even then I still wouldn’t recommend using shift. In melee mode it’s kinda alright, but definitely don’t use shift with gimmick.

@@sanic1st Yea ranged E needs to last longer and act more like a wall. I don’t think it should stun though unless it’s a very short stun, the move canceling is quite good. The melee mode could use a complete rework though tbh. The current melee F is so bad, and I barely use melee R because it’s so easy to punish.
