It is possible to reach Jaigad same day providee you take thevery first boat from bhaucha dhakka but that will be like you just hsve to ride continiously and no halt so could be tiring. Also when i did this ride for some reasins ferry services were not operational from bhaucha dhakka so if you planning pls check in advance.

Kuthun bhetate direct ferry?

Hey now there are 2 ways. Option 1 Old bombay goa road till ratnagiri where you can enjoy ghats and curves but still in patches rosds are bad till ratnagiri Option 2 you can take few ferry boats with 1st boat starting from Uran to Revas and so on but this route will be far but you can enjoy ferry rides, ghats,village roads. Watch my solo ride Video which is in 10 parts you will get all information. Also if you plan for ferry and road option than this is time consuming. You may have to take a halt in night. Here is the full plan for the trip - Bhaucha Dhakka to Mandwa by boat RoRo Service Approx duration - 1 hour - Mandwa to Agardanda by road Approx duration - 2.5 hrs Approx Kms - 89 - Agardanda to Dighi by boat Approx duration - 18 mins - Dighi to Bagmandla by road Approx duration - 1.15 hrs Approx kms - 49 - Bagmandla to Veshvi by boat Approx duration - 10 to 15 mins * After veshvi you can take a halt at khed as by the time you reach Veshvi it will be evening and its not safe to drive in night as its a jungle Veshvi to Dhabhol by road Approx duration - 3.5 to 4.5 hrs Approx kms - 180 kms - Dhabhol to Dhopave by boat Approx duration 5 to 10 mins - Dhopave to Tavsal by road Approx duration - 1.40 hrs Approx kms - 52 - Tavsal to Jaigad by boat Approx duration - 10 mins - Jaigad to Ratnagiri by road Approx duration - 1.5 hrs Approx kms - 52 - Ratnagiri to Devgad by road Approx kms - 102 Approx duration - 2.5 hrs I suggest avoid driving in night time and take halt since you travelling with family. This route is much longer than the direct route by road but this is worth visiting. Sir aap yeh way se jaoge toh 12 se 13 ghante lagenge but aap fir zyada halt nai kar paoge. Agar aapko yeh route se achese enjoy karke jana hai toh aapko one night Khed ya uske pehle ek halt lena hoga night mein

Sir if you go direct by road it will take 6.5 hrs but if you go through different ferry snd road it will take 8 to 9 hrs approximate There is no ditect boat One thing i can assure if you go by road snd ferry you will enjoy the scenic roads from different villages though its time consuming

Thank you Panvel to Chiplun 1 - Panvel to Bagmandala ferry terminal by road Approx 155kms 3.46 hrs 2 - Badmandala to Veshvi by boat 3 - Veshvi to Dabhol ferry terminal by road Approx 193 kms 5.5 hrs 4 - Dabhol to Dhopave by boat 5 - Dhopave to Chiplun by road Approx 55 kms 1.20 hrs All boats will take approx 10 to 15 mins maximum time This route will take more time as compared to full trip by road but worth doing this riad and boat trip. Most of the time you willbe travelling through beautiful villages. Overall road condition is better than the main National highway. Avoid driving in night specially if you are with family.
