As a punch investigator for 43 years, it seems the 'puncher' was full of adrenaline and his mind was clouded with rage and adrenaline. I imagine he also had his girlfriend in the car, and she more than certainly egged him on. She probably told him, 'you're not gonna let this white boy do you like this, are you?' At this point, he stepped out of the car with the intent on punching the white boy but was caught off-balance and whiffed that punch. White boy was standing still. And yet he missed the punch. That is so embarrassing.

Its hot here, contractors are needed, the economy is growing, and most laborers speak English as a second language. Honestly the crash looked like the other guy's fault. You can see he had his blinker on and this guy did NOT slow down until he hit him. He probably was trying to be a prick and speed up to close the gap so the guy couldn't get in. Crash was 100% his fault and could've easily been avoided. The rest of the shit is on ponytail though.

The dude that threw the punch is definitely in the wrong and should be charged, but as for the collision itself, I think Avery has to take at least some responsibility. Avery had plenty of time to react to the collision. He slowed down enough initially but then he speed up out of pride, which caused the collision. Driving defensively is not about being right, it’s about protecting your vehicle and your person from reckless drivers.

@@MannyXj1 First of all, Avery had the right away, no ands if's or but's about it.. 2nd of all , Avery moved slightly to the left to keep from hitting the car but there was a guard rail on the left that forced him to come back right and hit the car. Avery did nothing wrong the police saw it that way with dash cam as evidence. The oriental dude that cant throw a punch got what he deserves. Last but not least you said in you initial comment that Avery speed up without proof and now you comment something different leaving the acceleration of gas out of the scenario.

On one hand, he did have his indicator light on telling the weatherman of his intent to move over. Now I don't know if the weather man was being a dick and sped up to not let the guy in (which happens a lot) or being unaware of the other cars around him and not paying enough attention to notice the turn indicator light (defensive driving). I'd have to say the fault of the accident was the weatherman. That was no excuse for the driver to HADOUKEN the weatherman. The collision didn't look that bad. So now he's going to get arrested, and possibly fired from his job over something that could be taken care of with rubbing compound.

It looked pretty obvious that the car in front of him was going to be coming into his lane so he either was not paying attention enough to let the person in or was not wanting to be nice and let the person in. Everybody gets this way at some point when driving - “I don’t feel like letting them in”, etc. He definitely is not at fault but by being less “territorial” and letting others in he could of avoided this whole incident. He was not completely innocent since he did not attempt to slow down initially when she started to change into his lane.

A dash cam is a necessity today. I was in an accident similar to this. We pulled over and a woman got out of her car swinging an ice scraper at me, then fled. When the cops showed, I was informed the woman had also called the cops claiming, I was the one who assaulted her. Dash cam proved she was lying. Everyone should get a dash cam.

On July 1 1988, my stepbrother was attacked by a man wielding an axe handle during a road rage incident on Almeda Road - his cheek was crushed and one eye came out of its socket, he suffered multiple skull fractures, one of his ears torn off, both collarbones broken, multiple rib fractures that punctured his lungs, and at one point he put up his hands in a vain attempt to shield himself from the blows of his attacker and two of his fingers were severed from his hand. Then his attacker threw the axe handle in the back of my brother's truck, and he drove away. My brother underwent multiple surgeries but to no avail, and four days later the family said goodbye, and let him go to God. His attacker was caught, prosecuted and given a 25 year sentence. And for what? 30 square feet of asphalt on a public road. Two men taken from their families, one for forever, and for what??

I have had the same thing happen to me before, but since it is very messed up to do, selfish and ignorant i now let anyone switch into my lane if they need to, i slow down for them. Most people know some people do that so you see them just let you do your thing so they can switch lanes without a certain kind of person being a dlck.
