I'm struggling to comprehend that the guy in the Lexus thought he was in the right. Red Mazda didn't help sitting with no indicator on at the start to show an intension to move, can car stopped to far back, this I believe gave the ammo to the other car driver, to not move.

just a question .. i noticed the white line separating lanes. here in the u.s. yellow lines separate direction of traffic. white would indicate same direction on both sides. not that way there?

This happened to me recently, I swung around as the driver here as loads of parents outside a school were blocking my entire view when turning left. Another car was, like the OP, committed to coming through and she had nowhere to turn. I raised my hand to apologise and reversed back, dare I say much more sublimely than this driver. Lady thanked me, I smiled and we were both on our way.

I had a similar thing happen to me,approaching car was on my side of the road,taking a line to pass the parked cars on his side of the road(,like here), there was also a gap he should have tucked into, he just took the junction on my side of the road,and met me coming along, I tucked into his side of the road into the gap he should have been in ,(we were both ironically on the wrong side of the road ,me by necessity) and we went on our merry ways, my day wasn't hampered by the numbskull, no doubt he saw that as a victory, til he does it again ----- with a different outcome.

All he needed to do was pull in front of the red mazda (as you saw at the end, his whole car doesn't have to be out of the way for the cammer to get past), and apologise to the mazda driver, or if the mazda drivers a bit of a wankstain too, he could let them go ahead of him once the cammer is past.

Hope he has watched this display and has seen what a total berk he made of him self.i feel sorry for his wife being with someone so inadequate as the tool.

Not sure if sound was turned off looking at the video however whilst the situation warranted both drivers to act with caution ( as the red car parked illegally at the corner of the side road at junction of major important road was the physical cause of an event that placed other road users at risk ). The dash cam driver did reverse up sufficient to allow the Perceived baddy driver display of rage to pull into the gap between the two other cars to his left , however the law says you must never reverse out onto a major road from a minor road as that is dangerous to do. The dash cam driver was in fact obliged to reverse back up to allow the Perceived baddy in off the major road, which the dash cam driver did partially in the circumstances. Whilst the behaviour of the Perceived baddy driver was too much the entire blame did not rest with him. He believed he was right to not back out which he did eventually however that was more illegal than dash cam driver. Moral of story is council should enforcement illegally parked cars at busy junction major minor roads or partially recede grass verge on footway at that juncture to allow fluctuate manoeuvres necessary for avoidance of collision and road rage incident
