Finally someone understands how to make an exhaust video.

This video is more thorough and informative than any investigative news story on any cable network. Nice job guys. And I did put the Bassani Road Rage(black ceramic) on my 2013 Dyna just last week. It is unreal. No competition. Undisputed champion of exhausts.

Had Bassani pipes, looked great, sounded great, but only lasted a few years until they cracked (I mean broke off) and had to be replaced. I've had V&H in the past and that's what i'll buy from now on.

Excellent comparison video!! A few years ago, I built a custom Dyna from a wrecked '11 Street Bob. After a lot of research lookin for the best performing/sounding 2-1, I chose the Road Rage with the Pro Pipe a very close 2nd. I love my Road Rage and have not had any problems with it! But now, I'm running a 124" in her and noticed while riding through neighborhoods I'd prefer less kackle and more potato. Again... great job on this video. It would have saved me a lot of time in 2012. :)

Man, something about a Bassani on a twin cam. Between that sound and the way a 6 speeds gearing feels with a 96 ci motors torque… that’s a sweet spot that can’t be matched. I like the bigger twin cams and especially the Evo but Harley really did something special with the 96. Saddest thing is I bet it was an accident lol I threw a Bassani on my 07 dyna, best thing I’ve done to the bike hands down.

Yes, exactly. Each time a bike takes off, it states which exhaust it is and what we are doing. either slow or fast... take off or ride by... etc. Thank you! I love my Bassani pipes so far. The Super Glide with the Pro Pipe is my brothers bike. I love his too. Not quite as loud... but definitely has a good tone to it. Sadly, we can't replicate the EXACT sound as in real life... we at least tried to come close though! lol

I think the raspiness of the road rage would be irritating after a 500 mile day, the pro pipe looks great and has a little more rumble to it. My M8 is getting a pro Pipe.

I have the pro pipe with the race baffle. It definitely has to be the best imo. Quiet on light throttle and really opens up when your wot.

Does the road rage still have baffle and packing? I see videos and they have a nice sound and others are really quiet. Would like to put them on 14 breakout with a/c fuel controller and Andrews 57 cam

Great job on the vid, I wish I could find more like this. I'm still trying to find a good Go Pro clip with the Pro Pipe on a nice little ride, but no luck yet. I'm considering one for my Ultra Limited if I can get past the naked look on the left side of the bike. Both bikes sound great, but I've always been a big fan of the Pro Pipe ... love that wicked rumble between shifts and on decelleration... I could listen to it all day!

Which road rage exactly? I'm not sure about the differences of them lol, but yours sounded good as hell. I have straight shot slip ons by Vance and Hines on my 2011 super glide custom. Looking for a loud 2 into 1 for more power. I've got a dynojet power vision pv-1 tuner, gonna go with a big sucker or mini teardrop air cleaner and tune. Also, baffles are removable on both pipes? Would be very loud I imagine lol

Yea, I know exactly what you mean... I used to work night shift back when I had my sportster... I wasn't to cool when I'd be riding through my neighborhood at 1am! lol At least with my Bassani pipes on my street bob.. I can kinda keep it a little quiet.

I love them both as well. I'm jealous of his...yet, I like mine too lol The Bassani pipes are nice.. but as a heads up, don't rely on the company for answers. They are hard to get a hold of. I've emailed them many times with no reply or anything in return. It's a bit frustrating. Oh well....

This is a great video. Thanks for the comparison. My only critique is that I wish the camera was moved to the right side for each bike. That would've been more accurate. Just my two cents. Otherwise, bravo.

Going from a thunder header to a Bassani.. soundwise.. dissapointed with the baffle in. Quality-wise.. everything about the Bassani looks so much better.

Hey bro I just ordered the Bassani road rage II and I was wondering if you did the installation yourself and if so did it come with instructions? And if not how did you do so?

Both sound great.... I'm torn which one to get.... I got a 13 super glide custom, getting ready to put Woods TW 5-6 cams, SE super tuner, Big Sucker intake/airfilter,...lol which exhaust to go with the pro pipe or bassani road rage...

Yea, the Pro Pipe sounds great. Very Deep... My bro is pleased with them so far. One thing I really like about his Pro Pipe compared to my Bassani Road Rage, as you can see in the pictures, my head pipes on the Bassani dips really low... I've already scraped it multiple times. The Pro Pipe doesn't dip low like that.... Hopefully he will never scrape them going around a turn. But other than that, I still love my Road Rage pipes! Thanks for watching, Jason.

This may be a weird question, but which one has a more quiet idle? I'm really loving the pro pipe, but where I live the houses are close together and echos, leaving at 530 am means I'm that dick. Not looking for stock quiet, but just a respectable rumble until you open it up

Am I reading the screen right when it says which pipe is running fellas? To me the Road Rage sounds throatier and louder in each sequence. Road Rage, bar-none, all the way throughout the whole video!!!!!!!

Personally, I like the tone of the road rage a little better. Tone seems a bit lower and deeper in the video.

I like my V&H. I have a '13 Super Glide with very basic shit; Super Tuner and Heavy Breather, so the set up is similar to your brothers. Yes, the new version of the Pro Pipe is quieter. but that's not such a bad thing in the real world. I don't drive cars very often and because of this and the fact that I'm a night owl, it's nice to be heard when I need to be but still be able to "sneak" back into my neighborhood without getting complaints or loud pipe tickets. At WOT, well, watch for cops.
