Nice to see you against the top guys of Wemmetsweiler. 1850 is another world. 8:20 very solid topspins.

train to hit into backhand site with ur forehand.. thats the reason why they can anticipate u so well. if u start doing that.. ur shots into forehand will be more suprising aswell

Hi there. This topic has probably already been mentioned in earlier videos comments, but has your coach never pointed out that your forehand grip is extremely high up ? Your middle finger almost touches the rubber. I guess it gives you a lot of control and stability (for blocks and drives), but it also restricts your wrist mobility, which is detrimental for spiny and powerful topspins.

yes i know! i just can´t fix that, because i use a heavy backhand grip and when i switch to forehand it just stays, no matter how hard i try not to do it, it always comes back. this is also a problem if i have to switch fast to block or topspin. no clue what to do about it.

@@limittless. I feel you. Old engraved habits are hard to change. I used to have the opposite problem, i.e. I wrapped my index finger around the blade and below the rubber level. It made topspins easy and powerful, but everything else was lacking stability and precision. It's an investment, to modify something like that, and if you're willing to do it, you must accept to get worse for a while, before you get better. That said, for your target of 1550 TTR, or even for quite a bit higher, your current grip won't be an issue at all. If you want to be able to reach your maximum potential though, that may be different, and the more you progress with this grip, the harder it would get to change it later on, I think. But hey, table tennis is for having fun, so if it feels good for you that way, that's perfectly fine!

Two short questions, have you already reached 1550 ttr and are basicily just slowly releasing your journey how you reached it? or have you not reached it yet (asking cause you have your videos already lined up or atleast the dates, if you havent yet what is your current ttr). Also out of curiosity what material are you currently playing and has your coach also instructed you on what to choose if yes what did he give you and why?

Nice. Do you know these ratings compare to US ratings?
@limittless.
@limittless. 12 күн бұрын
As far as i know US rating is like 200-300 higher, so a 1500TTR would be a 1700-1800 USATT for example.
