@@2Malachi She is a legend because she persevered no matter if she lost two consecutive World champ finals! She got back and fought all the way to win World Championship Gold in 2019. With 5 world championship medals and 2 consecutive Olympic medals, she stands tall as the beacon of hardwork and perseverance and that's what makes her a legend!

She is a two time olympic medalist and a former word champion and there are a section of people trying hard to pull her down and level her as an ordinary player. Every players go through a phase of downfall in their career. Totally in love with her spirit of winning more despite her career graph going a bit down. She cleary wants to play for another 5 more years and will bounch back. All the best queen. ❤❤❤

Coming second of third in Olympics is nothing. Golds are what counts, and she has just one world gold medal. So many players win a world gold, it's no big deal. She's a good player, but nothing special. Marin has her beat, CYF too, and also now ASY. I think she will struggle to make the semi finals this time.

@@2Malachiwell then what special quality did you find in Marin and CYF? So for you Marin's rude on court attitude is special than Pusarla's never give up attitude? You don't even know how special this 2010 batch is. Sindhu,May,Nozomi,TTY,Marin, Saina,Wang SX,WangYH,SungJH,Busanan and many more.. We will not be able to witness this kind of wonderful players anymore. This batch players are of same, equal standards.Comparing them would be just nonsense

Just because she had one bad season doesn't mean that she would be unsuccessful in the Olympics. C'mon, they are humans too, they always try to do their best for the country, and injuries can happen anytime. At this crucial stage, we should encourage and level up their spirits, instead of making catcalls. Sindhu has always managed to bring feats, which no one ever did before from India... And this is 2024, India got it's first World Cup after 2013, and I think we can all hope for the colour of Sindhu's Olympic medal to change to the one for which we are madly waiting for, can't we??

Rio she got lucky with the draw, she shined in tokyo but I believe Paris is the hardest of them all for her and all the top 5-6 players.

@@vinayakpatil0303 TTY hadn't recoverd from her meniscus injury. The Chinese team head coach wanted to replace Wang yihan by Wang shixian because Yihan injured her right shoulder during Australia open but they couldn't replace because she was ranked higher than le xuerui and Okuhara played an hour and 41 minutes against teammate Yamaguchi in the quarters. In contrast Marin, Saina, Sung and le xuerui were in the same draw when literally they were leading the women's category. That semi final marin vs xuerui was literally the final. Even If TTY or Okuhara would have reached the finals, same could be said for them too. Sindhu really prevailed in tokyo and proved herself there, go watch her interviews how she mentions how this olympic and the quality of matches in tokyo were much more difficult than rio.

Saina won the last superseries in Australia before rio games and that sent shockwaves to her rivals with the form and pace she played there. Saina lost to maria ulitina from ukr but she had tore three tissues in her knee in the training even before going to rio. Wang could beat sindhu easily if her shoulder was fine. TTY could beat sindhu if her meniscus had healed. Okuhara could beat her too. Sindhu got lucky there. Appreciate her tokyo medal, that's what defines her greatness.

Its not about luck its all about how you manage your all emotions on court and give your 100%. And Sindhu is very good in that thats why she called big tournament player

No one cares about second place or third place. Winning golds is what counts. Just ask Carolina Marin, she has so many golds, the GOAT. PV admits she struggles with pressure, it affects her sleep. Marin sleeps like a baby ahead of finals. Good luck Carolina in Paris.
