Not to mention, nothing helps build some confidence like playing some good fighting games, Really gives you the room to grow and understand your mistakes. I'd be lying if I didn't say fighting games helped me ground myself, at least.

i mean, with how long she's been playing valo, I'd expect her to hit Ascendant at least. Fighting games have some fundamentals that tie into League of Legends (spacing, whiff punishes, conditioning opponents, etc). Plus she's a musician so timing and combos shouldn't be too hard for her.

There's a video talking about fighting games and rhythm. Since Lily is a musician and plays piano, this might helped her with combos, but it has nothing with her reactions and gameplan, she nailed it! Let's go, Lily!!

Lily has incredible potential. Between the advantages of a leverless controller and the dexterity that comes with her piano training, she could become a serious competitor. She's also really advanced quickly in a short space of time. Will be cheering for her in the Sajam Slam 🙌

PS5 controller is the hardest cause the d-pad literally misinputs your directions. Plus playing on controllers is so bad for your hands/thumbs long term

biggest scrub trap is learning combos, I fell into that hole for tekken 7, so this time arnd i just waited till i hit red rank then i started learning combos. You could probably even hit purple without combos either.

I had some experience with Motion Capture for video games and gotta admit even though Namco has always created a seriously fluid and accurate movement animations and overall choreography for Tekkens in the past, (I think they were using MoCap before it was industry standard) They outdid themselves this time. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)
