Road Trip for Rare eggs!! (Dealing Poultry) Am I addicted to chickens?!

From Egg to Education.. Reto (@RettoGiacometti) the chicken master takes me on a Road trip through Switzerland to pickup several dozens of eggs for our poultry project ..
We learn about candling (what to look in a fertilized egg before incubation) after shipment..
I teach him about Good lighting as he deep dives the standard of perfection for Pedigree poultry (Hamburg focus in this episode)..
We laugh and learn a bit more about each other & finish the day with baby Rosecomb bantams on my face. What more could we ask for ?!

We've only ever had chickens for eggs, so they're mostly brown and plain. Those shiny babies are so beautiful.

I'm a chicken lover 2!!! Silky's Road Island Reds are my favorite!!! Be careful not to let them eat their own eggs!!! They won't stop! Chickens are carnivores fyi,,,, nasty fighters if they don't like one in the bunch!!!🐣🐥🐤🐔

The Hamburgh are an english breed, but they most probably have originated somewhere in Europe. But I guess both German and british fanciers will disagree of the real origin. It is a bit like that Polands chickens are not from the country Poland.
