You took some nice beautiful secondary roads through Central Switzerland during this drive. Personally visited Thun in June 2020, very nice town, hope to come back and drive also on some more secondary roads, I drove on A6 from Bern and then further to Interlaken. Greetings from a fellow roadtripper from Germany!

Thank you for the tour. I love the Swiss traditional style of the steep pitched roofs with the large overhangs. There must be a practical reason for this, and not just for aesthetics. Is it something to do with the winter snow?

The roads don’t look any narrower than our roads here in Scotland.

@@kirsteneasdale5707 The roads between Burgdorf and Thun are just normal size roads. You will get the narrow roads once you start driving in the alps.
