road trip moengo and albina is the longest road trip i've made so far. basically it's a 2 hour road trip but i made it up to 45 minutes of video of it. it has been a nice shot together with a friend and it also rained during the recording. I hope you will like it would appreciate your opinion on the video because with your advice and support you give me the inspiration to continue with my channel.

This is a trip I always wanted to make but never had a chance to do so: from Moengo to Albina. I used to visit the bauxite plant at Moengo in 1982/1983 as a seaman. Time was limited when you are at port loading up. I used to walk about Moengo and saw the road sign to Albina and I always thought it would be great fun to drive up there. I never had the chance as I never visited Suriname again after I quit my sea life in 1987. Maybe one day I will be back there (I doubt it though🙂) but/so for now, I will enjoy this road trip via my armchair and laptop. Very nice video, thank you so much posting. Peace! @@RegilioJadi

@@MrShaziman In this period of the 1980s, Moengo was still blessed, but nowadays everything is falling apart, sad to see how a productive city has become this way. Thank you for sharing your emotions and experience and who knows, maybe you will come to Suriname again on holiday. Happy new year!

Thank you so much for the very nice and kind comment. Sad to hear though that many things are falling apart there, not much different in Canada I dare say, but thank God at least we are not as bad as other places. Our standard of living is ok, but societal degradation is increasing: crime and broken families everywhere. Yes, maybe one day I will be back in Suriname and enjoy that special little trip I wanted to do so badly, so many years ago.😊 A Happy New Year to you as well.@@RegilioJadi

@@MrShaziman I am very grateful that you would like to exchange some information with me about the country where you are now. I think this applies all over the world and even more strongly after the corona crisis. we as individuals just have to set priorities in our daily lives and expenses so that we can still manage our livelihood.
