I had seen your Bangalore to Mumbai vlog, sometime back, however, I enjoyed this particular vlog, mainly because you detoured to Saaswad which is beautiful. Glad to know your love for birding and nature. I am taking a road trip to Mumbai next week from Bangalore and back in a weeks time. Your vlog was very helpful in terms of knowing the roads are okay and drivable. I plan to stay overnight at halfway, so that I do not push for reaching before sunset to Mumbai. Thanks for some good tips. Perhaps on my way back, I shall try to stop by at Shivneri Misal joint.

@@alexandermenezes5085 if you fully vaccinated, then no RT-PCR required both ways. If not, better carry one.

@@adventureonwheelz Thanks for your reply. The reason I asked is, nowhere in your vlog I heard a mention about the RTPCR on way back to Bangalore. Hence asked to confirm. I guess the rule is still in force. We are fully vaccinated, but my wife tells me that it is a must at the border. Yes to be on safe side, we shall have it done at Mumbai before leaving back to Bangalore.

You cover long distances in very short times. What's the speed you keep while driving on the highways? Just curious.

I try to keep an avg speed of around 100kmph... but in this vlog, it took me 19 hours to reach Bangalore, which I not fast at all.

At an avg speed of 80-100 kmph, you should reach by 2pm.

No checking while going from Kar to Mah but on our way back Kar police checked for RTPCR or full vaccination details

If you are comfortable with driving non stop (with small breaks), then it can be covered in 15-16 hours. Else, you can take an overnight halt at Belgaum or Dharwad and then continue onwards next day. I say 15-16 hours as it's raining and roads are not good at some stretches

Yes, it is but since all of us were vaccinated with both doses, they let us go.

@@arkapadia .. Congrats ! Mine is 2019 Model Limited Plus Diesel. It's a drivers car and a beauty on long drives. It has good pickup, mileage, comfortable... everything that u need in a car.

If we go from Gujarat to kerala, we need to enter in pune or just turn from chandani chauk to Mumbai

@@blessonpawothil6919 if u r coming from Gujarat and have pass Pune, then it's a straight highway and no need to take any Pune internal roads. Hope this helps.
