When the invitation comes through to see an amazing private collection of rare vintage Volkswagens, you do whatever necessary to attend. Taking into consideration that approximately 60 miles away is a great VW Parts swap meet the next morning, you attend the private party and leave in time to enter the swap meet area the night before. You sleep in your car, enjoy the swap meet the next morning and hit the road onice you’ve had your fill of friends and VWs and then pack up the parts you didn’t plan on buying. ECONO MOTORS was Exactly a type B dealership. That is exactly what it looked like back in the 60s before it was sold off to the Quaid motors.

Hey, Eddie! Great video capturing the highlights of Mark's 2024 open house and the Red Barn Swap Meet! I loved seeing the shot of you, Mike and me having coffee at my bus! Good times. BTW, I just returned from an epic off-road adventure in the same "coffee bus" at the Arches Nat'l Park in Moab with the Lin Ottinger folks and many hard-core VW enthusiasts. Here's looking forward to seeing you again somewhere down the road! 🙂👍
