Thanks for sharing another great excursion. I can imagine what it was like building that fort in the first place... whew. Nice to know the Bosque del Apache is nearby: that's supposed to be a great area for viewing large numbers and all sorts of birds at various times of the year. Thanks!

Yeah, it is quite a ways out there, but at least the roads are mostly decent, and that's a nice little visitor center - very well kempt. 🙂

Just a suggestion. When at the information desk if you will take a straight on video we can pause and read the writing better. I was still able to, but a slower shot of the words and map would be great to future viewers wanting to learn from a video where they can never be in person like me.

It's just a matter of budget and time. My phone camera turned off twice from overheating, and I had 15% battery. Hope you like some of the video. Most, if not all of those poster's info can be found on line.
