Here a a few more tricks i forgot to mention in the video: 1) Descriptions for all graphics on the roadbook are available in the in--game lexicon, that you can access before starting a stage when looking at the roadbook. 2) if you overshoort an offroad checkpoint, the cap to the next checkpoint will be different then what is displayed. Just take a tighter turn for a few seconds before heading for the displayed cap. 3) Following that same logic, it might be safer and faster for you offroad to drive around dunes and not go in a straight line to avoid tall dunes, rocks and dangerous jumps, just remember to correct the cap by adding or subtracting a few degrees. 4) In sports mode you'll get rally-like pace notes on the top of the screen. The green box with a line will be exactly the same as it would be in the roadbook (blue line), so get used to following that instead of the copilot, you'll learn about turn types and get used to turn angles. 5) You can adjust the total KM counter, which is usefull if you've taken a detour or shortcut in between far away checkpoints to bring your total KM to what it would be if you'd followed the path. 6) Retracing your steps isn't always the best way to find the next checkpoint when you're lost. if you look at the next few roadbook notes, you might be able to find another way to the next checkpoint without having to turn around. However be mindfull of rocks, sometimes creating walls you can't cross. If i forgot anything, leet me know and i'll add it here.

Advice for newcommers: I gotta correct one important thing, which confused me to no end, til I figured it out. He says the first roadbook box is where you where and second is where your heading. While technically it's true, it means that newbie, such as me, always disregarded the first one and directly tried to follow the second, while in reality, when one reaches a waypoint, they're at the thin line in first box and they should follow the first box instructions to reach another waypoint (thin line) in the second box.

I think it would be a good idea to make a more in-depth guide, I've had to guess through experience and trial and error what a lot of the indications in the roadbook means. For instance I had to figure out myself that CX means cailloux (rock), HP means Hors-Piste (off-road), P means follow the path, QtP meant Quitter la Piste (leave path), etc and I'm still not sure what stuff like DNT means. I'm French which helped me a lot but it still wans't easy and someone who isn't might have a much harder time figuring out a lot of the text indicators.

Not getting the roadbook like you have in hud. In my game icon's are shown at the top how can i get the one like you have

How do you reajust the KM counter? It updates itself automatically it seems but it makes it really hard when you did take a wrong turn or missed a few waypoints.
