Jessi Lang recently spent a week in the 2010 Porsche Panamera 4S. This sport sedan is nothing short of amazing. The all-wheel-drive Panamera 4S with its normally aspirated, 32-valve DOHC, 4.8-liter V8 makes 400-horsepower but due to the highly efficient PDK transmission that 400 hp feels a lot more like 500. Jessi road tests and reviews the new Panamera which compares to BMWs might M5 and the Mercedes-Benz AMG models.

Nice review as always, Jessi! Hey, for safety's sake and efficientcy of getting a good take, do you do your on camera "in vehicle/in motion" reports with the car on a flat bed truck or towed and we just get the illusion that you are actually driving? ;-)

This car is huge on the inside. My grandfather owns the 2010 Porsche Panamera Turbo model and I feel like a ant when I ride in it ... It is a very luxurious and cozy car.

@valeriy1987 Well he does and he likes them. But he shows more favourable opinions for Aston Martin or Jaguar. Or Landrover for that matter, especially when set up against a Lexus. You know the Citroen C6? Is it available in the US?

I do see problems with the lay down buttons on the shift console. Past problems have been dirt, dust, food and other foreign objects finding there way under the controls and making them dysfunctional. Jessi, I really like your down to Earth bloopers especially where you jump from being attacked by the car, BEEP,BEEP,BEEP! :)

This car really doesn't look that bad... it is by far not the sexiest car but, I still enjoy watching one pass by. The Porsche is also has way more usable cargo capacity than its competitors and the interior very well finished. honestly the panamera is the only current Porsche model that I feel is a decent value. I'm not dogging on Porsche by any means but their options list can nearly double an msrp

Porsche is the epitome of over-charging for a car that only costs $21,000 to build. The Panamera is different However. Its beautiful, an athlete, and its worth it.

I don't think saying this compares to the AMGs is right. AMG is Benz's performance division, and not necessarily a class or model. It is in the class with Mercedez CLS I think.

two things, the panamera was a risky move from porsche, but i definitly think they made their point, porsche can also desing high performance sedans and still print the porsche signature on them, being faithful ot their sports cars tradition; and second of all...Jessi Lang please...marry me

In my best Al Pacino voice "That car has a huge ass" I love the interior of the Panamera, but I hate the exterior. I wish it looked more like the Rapide. Whoever makes a car with the interior of the Panamera and the exterior of the Rapide first will kill everyone else. Oh wait, Jaguar did with the new XJ. This was Jessi's best review yet and the outtakes with the laughing are great.
