More that Hog countering Doom, I’d say this shows how hard Ana counters Hog, half of the kills here were while Hog was anti’d.

Hog never countered Tank Doom until just now with this vape change. Doom is going to feel even worse to play now that you can’t cancel his heal outright + the stun nerfs. We’re back to C tier

@@Pam234 Hog never countered Tank Doom besides in S2, but that was when he was hard meta and countered everyone besides Orisa. Since S3 the matchup has been in Dooms favor. It was fun while it lasted.

Honeslty full effect of Doom nerf on display at 3:25 . An almost full charged emp punch into wall and no kill on the Sojourn. If the best Doomfist in the world cant consistently convert this kill you know something is wrong.

The issue is less about the duration and more about the displacement after the impact. The stun effect ends before you can even land a clean shot in most cases. The other day I hit a hanzo directly on a flat wall at 90 degrees and he flew 10m into the air on impact.

Adapt, this patch was mostly to shave off some players off of doom. Get good, truly good doom players can still make stuff happen w the changes.

@@jonableek9452 it’s not completely about how the nerf impacts game, it’s about how unnecessary it is, also there a lot of situations now where because of the nerf, even good doom players fail to get kills that they should have gotten.

@jonableek9452 No, dude. The nerfs were uncalled for, and the hero's overall impact is worse than Doomfist before the 6s and block buffs. Current iteration is the weakest iteration of him from OW2 Alpha till now. Oh, and I'm a GM1 Doomfist main with 1k+ hours, lmfao.

my two fav streamers fighting each other. we had diffrent outcomes over the last past encounters :). Both absolutely masterclass onetricks. Both playing alternative heroes. Doom is now in a way better spot but hog had hes peak to :).

I don’t see why people view Hog as a counter to Doom overall still. He technically is on paper but if you just play corners, bait hooks, and have an escape plan if you are hooked, there’s nothing really the hog can do.

He did several times, but his team couldn't follow up because they weren't with cyx and zbra usually had both his slam and punch to escape. So seeing that hooking block wasn't bringing any value, he started trying to get a dps/support pick to start a push

Would honestly only agree if they buff the duration of it by a lot, like it should be able to be used as a escape tool if necessary and with the timer on it currently you will 100% have people wake up and catch up to a Ana player

Unlike Orisa, you can actually counterplay hog. Hog isn't even a counter, it's like a 6-4 matchup in favor of hog. Orisa is like a 9-1 matchup.
