Just one of the best, most patient, most clear lessons for any song I’ve ever seen! I love the Doors and honor all of them but honestly, this lesson is better than Robbie Krieger’s own video tutorial for this track! Thank you so much for not only providing this lesson but thoroughly explaining the blues pedigree of the song and it’s structure!

R. Krieger don't play this song like that. He's muting the low E with his right hand not with the left. And he's playing with his finger, not médiator. Go to the Doors page, he's explain that.

Hi Jake! Once again, million thanks for this superb lesson! Simple riffs and licks but so hard to play consistently for the eternal early intermediate player that I am. It took me ages just to get the first riff with the right hand muting. Playing the first measures without the support of the drum shuffle was so difficult to achieve (and I'm still not sure I can do it every time). The solo is also so challenging but it's actually a rhythm exercise! Thank you very much for insisting on playing rhythm, Jake! What a great advice! Best wishes for 2022 and please keep posting your lessons!
