This movie was dope. The throat punch kill was an ultimate hype point in the movie.

I got into Roadhouse with Family Guy. There was this whole joke of Peter Griffin kicking everything and saying Roadhouse afterward. I loved that joke so much that I eventually decided to finally watch it, and I loved it. I only watched it once, but you definitely can't beat Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliot. They make any movie great. And after seeing the trailer and clips, I can't wait to see this movie.

I actually really enjoyed this movie and the fight scenes. Conor mcgregor as Knox really made the movie fun

After watching this, I am convinced Jake would make a great Batman.

Honestly. As a musician, who plays a lot of bars in Florida. I’ve seen a couple fights, and I’ve never stopped playing unless they were right up against me.

I will say Dalton in the original kills multiple people towards the end. It's even a big thing when he rips the guys throat out.

This is my kinda dumb fun. I mostly enjoyed it and Jake and Conor were fun to watch imo, as was the action, which was pretty unique and I dug it. It did lose the simplicity and charm of the OG tho…

You do realize that Patrick Swayze killed everybody at the end of the movie because they killed his best friend. So he killed them out of revenge not out of self-defense. so Jake Gyllenhaal started killing out of revenge because of what they did to a little girl and her father. they both did the exact same thing just different reasons.

I find it crazy that the maker of the film boycotted it

I have watch RoadHouse on prime video. And i enjoyed this movie i really wish it can be in theatres but… sadly it not and there put it on Prime video. I must say I really enjoyed this movie. 7.5/10

I just watched the Movie and must say you were Spot-On with this review! I genuinely wished I could've seen this in theatres instead of at home. I been a Conor fan for so long and when you say he's like a "UFC Joker", I'm like, "Why haven't I thought that all these years?!" That's so Him and how he's really like with his stunts and shenanigan's. He's on set to fight this summer, against Michael Chandler who in my eyes, no exaggeration, is like a "UFC Captain America" with his personality. So that'll be a Fun one too!

Hollyweird is dry af still doing only remakes or giving classic movies sequels they don't need! I like Jake but he not Patrick Swayze RIP ❤

I was personally just a littleeee upset that we didn’t a recreation of dalton ripping out the throat

I’m a MMA fighter, and that scene of him saying “it takes a lot to get me mad, but when I’m mad, I just can’t let go of it” was relatable. People that get really into MMA nowadays were typically bullied or had traumatic events happen. It made sense in the movie for Dalton to act as he did. Obviously it’s over the top dramatized, but a lot of people training MMA are there to let their demons out

The trailer for chucky season 3 part 2 is out now and it looks insanely awesome and bloody and beautiful. 3c films

i know this is a remake but it honestly feels like "what if" the roadhouse 1989 was set in a whole new setting which made it really interesting to watch. and boy the action scenes looks pretty fucking fun

Road House was a decent film. I literally just finished watching it. In the action film, Gyllenhaal did a damn good job. Word is that he did do MMA training for the role. McGregor was a monster in the movie. Hell, Conor seemed to be Light Heavyweight, in there. Still, it was easily one of the better remakes, today. Gyllenhaal might be able to become a full-on action star, now. That dramatic actor did a great job. The persona of his character felt like a completely different one than Swayze, but within the same territorial aspect of the character. Liman, in all truth, knows how to do Action-Drama pretty damn well, as which any fan of The Bourne Identity could certainly tell you.

Chris my biggest ??? Is they should have let him like end up with the girl…the no closure on that made me go???? Thats why this didn’t get theater release because it makes it go from a pretty dam dope movie honestly to lil ??? Ok??? Makes me feel this is a modern take with a slight prequelish feel to where dalton evolves into or something

Jake Gyllenhaal is hands down one of the greatest actors of this generation dude has so many credits to his name and alot of too tier movies one of my all time favourites which i feel is underrated is Southpaw he did a excellent job on that movie

The band playing while the actions going on at the bar, reminds me of the band in from Dusk Till Dawn 😂😂

i don't know if it's the same here but in the original the band was behind some sort of fence which is probably why they felt safe to play no matter what

I remember seeing the Roadhouse 2 dvd getting released at the videostore when I was working there But I never bothered to play it in the store

Was honestly surprised with the amount of VFX in this movie. There is some noticeable jank in those fight scenes, they filmed 4 passes where they have people hitting pads, and then acting like they got hit. The blending isnt that great but its not terrible. Still dont know why they didnt choreograph the fights in a normal way like most movies.

I don't know if I'd say he has a bigger dark side. In the original movie his past already involved him ripping a man's throat out in self-defense, that was part of the story surrounding him.

I saw the movie today. It had a lot of fun moments. Conors role is a bit random, but he was necessary to make the movie what it is... It could have been a bit more semantic but whatever, it was fun to watch. The bad guy Brendt played very well lol.

There was no rhyme or reason to this remake. McGregor acts like he's on meth the whole time, no character development or back story for anyone besides the cop dad and his daughter and horrible camera consistency when shooting back and forth dialogue. Gyllenhaal was almost sleep walking through it aside from a few hits to the head or stabs.

That fight end was cool

For a movie where I didn't expect much of anything from watching it, I walked away happy that I saw it. It was stupid and ridiculous, but it never forgot that it was there to entertain the audience.

I think the whole dalton killing thing was actually done pretty good, I mean he clearly states that when he gets mad he gets mad and that pushes him to kill people. and I think he was at his breaking point and just decided to go crazy on these people. its kind of like a John wick situation where in the first movie he was sort of in retirement and leaving that life behind, and then people kill his dog and take his car and he breaks. he feels the only thing left for him to do is to kill because of that amount of rage and anger and sadness he's feeling. so relating that to dalton is basically the same, he has this extreme rage because of what happened to the book store and he has to let this rage go.

As bar security we were told the same rules as the security was in the movie in real life was the right n best way
