I lost my wife to cancer six years ago and this song and video are a exactly what I was feeling back then and listening today takes me back to that time so much. If this song had existed then I would have listened to it over and over again in endless repeat. Honestly I was on the fence about buying the album but this song alone is a reason to get it. And I totally agree that suppressing your emotions is bullshit and that is something I completely dropped in my grief. I don't know where I would be be now if I hadn't done that. Adam, here is one guy who has been in the same place and I hear you so very much.

I will be utterly shocked if I listen to this album on its release date and don't immediately put it at #1 for my list of top albums is 2022. Their singles have already shown they aren't straying too far from the sound and the songwriting that got them where they are, but songs like this show that they're still expanding and revolving. There's just no way it turns out to be a disappointment

Honestly not a fan of Lorna shore but they can be serious candidates, Tekkno is an amazing album, The death of peace of mind by bad Omens was amazing as well, but IMO the biggest candidate of album of the year (rock and metal in general) is Pawns and Kings by Alter Bridge

The pure emotion and desperation in Will's voice is overwhelming. The cleaner "talks/whispers" are a very sincere touch to the story of the song. A masterpiece of the highest calibre. 🥺😭🤟

As much as I love Lorna Shore, I never pictured myself crying listening to their songs. This absolutely pushed me over the edge. Toward the end, when Will uses those broken screams, where you can hear his actual voice, the lyrics are clear, and the pain he communicates...it's a level of emotional heaviness and desperation you almost never hear in any genre, let alone something as heavy as deathcore. Then you add in the storyline of the video and damn, this song is an incredible trip through all my darkest thoughts and feelings

I think that one gets us all. It's already insanely emotional and if you're not getting misty at that point, you're about to. And if you already were, that's where you just bust out, lol. It's just every emotion you can have rolled up in one. On one hand, you think, now way Lorna Shore can possibly top this, but then know in the back of your head, they will and you can't wait to see it. Bring on Pain Remains II.

i feel like it's a line we have heard many times over, but never like this, and never has it made so many feel it. something like this is a platitude people throw at you after a tragic event and it never rings, but here it's the one in pain saying it painfully. and that just hits.

I work as a respiratory therapist and I have seen many people die. I am the one pulling out the breathing tube and turning the ventilator off. I have seen these exact faces and reactions from family members. I have sat with them and comforted them while they grieve. The other two videos in this series are emotionally rough, but this one hits worse because I see this constantly with my job. Truly a masterpiece.

It's been said that the abrupt ending, while it does cut because it leads to the next song, was also mean to portray the abruptness of death. It just ends without warning and there is nothing we can do about it.

Edit: the diagnosis was changed to glioblastoma multiforme stage 4. Pretty scared right now ngl. Hoping for the best. I was recently diagnosed with high grade Oligodendroglioma brain cancer. This shit hits different right now. I don't want to leave my kids and wife alone. I know my time is limited and I'm trying to make the most of it. Such a fucking raw and emotional video. It really encapsulates the experience. I pray none of you reading this ever go through it.

Lost my father to cancer a couple months ago and this was a hard music video to watch. I listened to this song several time before I watched the video and it was changed drastically for me. The visuals of in the hospital just pacing and sitting and staring hit so hard because that was me for two weeks while we slowly lost him.

We lost my aunt about a year ago to cancer and I have a cousin that had a cancer scare a few years back. So this recent passing has truly been the catalyst to opening my eyes to what I am missing.

It’s crazy how yesterday I made a comment, and today I see this ready to premier. My mother recently received a cancer diagnosis, and I just took her to her final surgery before her chemo starts. We carry a positive mindset but can’t stress enough the importance of what matters. Don’t take waking up for granted, and find true value in the minutes we have today, because it isn’t a given that tomorrow’s sunset will be seen by those with you in the present.

Emotional deathcore. Brutality painted with deep emotion. This is song is pure art, and hit really fuckin hard, from within. The intro, the catching vibes, the smashing drums with rhythm line, the touching guitar solo, the lyrics and Will painful screams is brutally emotional, and for me it’s impossible hold back the tears. And the abrupt cut end is the last drop of perfection. And of course great video production, with a very good actors. Thx guy for this masterpiece. My sister died very horribly from cancer. She had 2 sons, over 10 years ago and it still feels fresh some days. I enjoy being able to explore those feelings even if it hurts. I pushed them down for so long.

Dude… I totally broke down listening to this on the way to work. But the video just broke me. Incredible work - sharing with everyone I know. That guitar solo is SOOO damn expressive and the crack in Will’s voice just is perfect. Holy Hell, I was waiting for your reaction since the first second this song came out. And I just want to say thank you, thank you again and again. You cannot imagine how much I appreciate your open mind to expressing feelings, emotions and stuff. I first heard the track while driving and was so close to pull my car over to the side, 'cause as soon, as the solo started, I just teared up. I'v got the same feeling as in the videoclip, my wife is still alive but also gone, she is now 54 yrs and has progressive m.s. 4 yrs ago she got a huge relaps, and is now one sided paralysed, and dementia, i nursing her, but its to hard and heavy to do it by myself, she is now in a nursing home, when i go to see her, she dont remember me anymore, my hearts breaks when i be there, her brains are on vacation to destiny "nowhere"

This song is helping me being a better person every day since it's release, I can't describe it better and it's a new experience to me that music like this can do this............ The intensity is mind blowing, the dramaturgy is hauntingly perfect and despite the fact that this song breaks me every time, i need it again and again, what kind of wonder is that?

"You took me by suprise and then you disappeared in the blink of an eye" That hit me too hard in the feels followed by that guitar riff which just made the message and what the person is feeling; more conveyed and in depth/tune. Lorna Shore is amazing man❤️‍🔥🔥👏🏽👏🏽.

I completely understand and respect the choice to not breakdown the gear in this video. This video should be given full attention and crying isn't weak or a bad thing for guys, it's expression of ourselves, what we feel, and how we feel with different things in our lives. I can't tell how much I awaited this reaction of yours. It's such a powerful song! As much as I got to know you over the past few years, I can't begin to fathom how much you will like it. On another note, I can't follow streams so I'm not up to date, but it seems like you successfully moved into the new home and got time to do your hobby/job again. Since the launch of this song i've been listening to it multiple times a day. Its just so brilliant and a way to release ur emotions. Especially as a guy, I feel the need to cry from time to time, where its hard to as i've been taught to withold tears in general.
