It’s not realistic at all. Maybe if you are self employed and can choose your working hours but if you’re a truck driver for a company you will never have that much free time.

Have to really scratch & claw our way out in this current industry with the increase of Punjabi / Hindu drivers decreasing entire industry standards (making cheap freight cheaper) & washing feets in the restrooms 😅

@@highway_barbie I ran part time for schnider for a year recovering there company trucks ( people quit in all kinds of locations or have have some sort of emergency or situation and can't truck drive) for schnider.....man I had so much extra time doing that job and I made it into a weekly adventure out of it with the cool rental mustangs and camaros ( they can GPS the 18 wheeler but your not GPS-ing the rental car!) i got until you got to the trashed truck ( they weren't always trashed on the inside) you had to recover. And bring the 18 wheeler back to the depot Terminal.

Looks like you can take care of a truck. Your better than some of the drivers out there. I'm a tech for a company that runs those same Peterbuilt trucks. Might want to check your power steering filter. They like to back off. I've found several of ours loose. Be careful out there.

Wow in my 2 years of OTR I saw 1 truck driver to an inspection, in Missouri…OTR from central California. 2017-2019- I do miss trucking a bit I have to say….you all stay safe out there, at all times

Dang, not gonna lie. I miss the road when watching your videos. When I was OTR I'd always try and make the most of it. I'd always try to shutdown behind Targets :) You just gotta ask the manager and they'd always give me the green light. I would Google the best coffee shop in whatever town or city I was doing a reset at and head other there. On Sundays I would try to plan my 30-minute break by a church to take in service. I was always welcomed going to a new church. Especially the one's in small towns. Heard some sermons that changed me. I met a lot of nice people that I stayed in contact with. Made a buddy in Washington at a diner and so whenever I rolled in we'd hit the town. I even met a women I dated for a year when I was on the road. We met at Chilis lol. I was there by myself sitting at the bar top, she walked in and we started chatting. I'd always ask for loads where she was at so I could see her. We ended up breaking up because I got a local gig back home. She lived in another state though. I could never do OTR again but it's awesome to experience when you're young.

Thank you Shania. I may not drive semi-truck (I actually drive school busses), but kudos to you and others who deliver America's goods. Not an easy life, and definitely not willing to work. I watch other trucking channels, and they all are true to how being a truck driver is. Keep up the good work, Nia, and thank you again for all you do.
