When you replaced the spark plug wires on the GM, looks like you forgot to transfer the heat shields from the old ones. Not sure they will last long without them.

dont know why then even sell them like that its stupid. Rockauto was the only place i found that comes with them ON.

I’ve seen a couple of your videos just a heads up if you want those Milwaukee ratchets to last you have to break the bolts loose using it as a manual ratchet then hit the button to loosen the rest of it. It’s not an impact and you’ll damage the motor. Great vids.

Always twist those plug wires on the plug you will feel them break loose then they pop right off, great video though 🤟

OR hear me out, knowing the fact that these are brittle, you should advice your future customers to go ahead and buy them before doing a tune up, no labor up charge! Saves you time and of course money!

i'm fairly new into repairing cars (just my own) but it sure does seem that parts stores either have nothing available, give the wrong parts (right box, wrong stuff inside) or the parts are Dead on arrival. so frustrating for me, can't imagine seeing it every day as a full time mechanic. so much respect for the front line fixers!

Rough job brother....thanks for being an honest Mechanics...........Hard to find them around for sure! I'm a shady tree mechanic, do all the stuff myself if I"m able to do so. Seen so many tec's that just makes your car's worse or don't even perform the job right and than just overcharged for what they don't do. Thanks for these awesome video's and doing what you do.

I just replaced an alt on a friend's car, attempted to install a remanned Duralast but the threads were trash. Brought it back and they exchanged it for a new non-remanned Duralast at no extra cost. From now on I'll check the threads at the store with a bolt.

battery replacement nd spark plugs/coils replacement is easy to learn and you can save a bunch of money doing it yourself... a garage has to charge you to pay their men each week...

You should really put what you are working on in description. So many times I and ither people look fir specific things on KZfaq (how to change sparkplug on a 2002 Honda crv for example) and your videos wouldn't come up for that. You will gain another set if eyes on your videos.

I'm a mobile mechanic. Had a guy yesterday whose AC was dead. Dealership charged him $9,000 for a replacement. He declined. I changed out his blower motor relay for $90 including parts. $90 vs 9,000. Gotta do good work, guys. Be honest.

ive been doing this for years now, I just watch him for funsies and seeing what others do. If he charges anywhere near what I do, he shouldve made around 300-400$. Maybe even more if he sold that alternator, battery, plugs and wires at customer cost and not his cost.

@MrXSmasher

If he charges like I do. Depends on the customer. If the customer orders their own parts, then its labor only. Otherwise, parts and labor.
