Good video. I remember as a kid in high school looking at the advertisement for them in Lowrider Magazine. 🤔 I wanna say the truck, "Punch 84" had Roadstars on in.

Never had roadsters, remember the ads in the mags, but what a bitch to put on and off. I had mclean's, but you had 1 or 2 shots to put on moon cap or those little tabs wore out and would rattle and or fall off. Couldnt afford dayton's. This is 1995 or so.

Mclean bolt ons are one of the wire wheels I've never had. I didn't like the small spinners

That is a complicated for sure, I can see how some of them got wrecked by people trying to use a big hammer on them. Looks like you have a nice collection of parts for them 🙂

That's genius..... For the lug nuts on the adaptors do you use short ones? And can you use closed end lug nuts?

Small acorn style lug nuts is what u want to use

Are those adapters longer than the normal old-school ones that don’t use a lock like that and if so, would you have to get a different size rim instead of a 13 x 7 you would have to get something a little bit more narrow??
