Driving the Zillertaler Höhenstraße in Austria. The windy roads leads through the forest of the Tuxer Alpen. You can't drive fast since there are many blind corners and narrow streets, but it's a lot of fun to drive and has beautiful views!
8 euros toll must be paid for part of the road.

What could be better than early summer drive at scenic Alps.. well.. done by bicycle. ;) Great video and superb quality! Been also once at Zillertal, but then only for few days and on foot. These kind of high Alpein roads are The Thing to do.. Thank You for sharing!

Wonderful drive! It is on my to do list, as it is also not very far from where I live. I was in Zillertal once, but only drove the toll road to Schlegeis.

Bei einer vergleichbaren Fahrt in der Schweiz sieht man bei weitem nicht so viele flache Dächer. Und wenn dann Schnee ist wie gerade in diesen Tagen dann geht die Haut hinten nich tmehr zusammen. Die gezeigte Fahrt ist sehr schön und interessant. At a compareable ride in Sviss there are not so many flat roofs on the houses. An at snowweather as they have this days the skin does not close backside. The ride you show is amazing and imformativ at all.

Nice video, but so few people who post great driving videos bother to mention where they start and where they finish, making it sort of useless. Of course if you gave the road's route number, that would be helpful too. Too bad I'm not psychic.

Firstly may I say your videos are amazing. I have worked out that I have driven well over 2 million miles, in 33 countries on 4 continents. Mainly in a truck for F1. So I started to watch your videos to see the roads and scenery that are not suitable for trucks...But I was drawn to your style of driving. Fast but safe, so all I am doing is looking at the way you are driving. Watching which lines you take through the corners, and missing the scenery??? I feel that I am driving..... :-)) ps: The hills must take a lot out of the brakes, how much retardation do you get from the motors when you lift of the throttle??? Cheers

No worries, I also take my time to enjoy the scenery :-) I'm driving a Tesla here, so almost all braking is done by the regenerative braking using the motors. That brakes surprisingly hard, so after some time you learn to brake smoothly by just releasing the throttle smoothly. With enough anticipation on the road ahead I can actually drive complete passes without ever touching the brake pedal.

Probably a good drive but could be very boring because of the trees all around , I suppose its a drive! but should have views as welll, would do my head in.
