This is interesting. Would be better if the webpage and video showed how the IKS connectors work --- especially with a reserve (noting there is no reserve used here). The webpage says: “For those who prefer carabiners, the design facilitates this by placing them directly in the IKS loop”. Would this not lower the hang point and change the roll behavior? Suggestion for the next version would be to do the IKS 180 degrees the other way so the connection is onto where the lumbar support strap joins the leg strap. That way: 1) when connecting (at altitude) the reserve and riser it would be easier because they would ‘slide and stack' in while holding the IKS; and, 2) an extra connection loop could be added (or the loop could be twisted) to shorten the lumbar support to make the seating position more upright for using with skis or heavy backpack. Look forward to more details and order date?
