It's been too long since we last ventured out and camped with our friends. But festival season is starting, so this is the perfect excuse for a catch up with many of our great mates. Join us to see who we found, and to see just how much fun we had at the Peterborough Show!

We had a park home in our back garden for my Mother in law to live in. Sadly she had to go into a nursing home when she lost her mobility. The park home was 30 years old & we had it demolished, no sign of any water ingress. The outside was painted just once in all those years. It was amazingly warm & cosy.

Hi Steve & Lyndsey. We recently bought a tow car (Arbarth) from the tows car guys from Wales they were great to deal with and highly recommend if you are thinking of a tow car

I was born 300 yards from The Balvenie distillery and grew up 7 miles away. I much prefer Speyside whisky to the peaty West Coast & Island verities. Good to see Lindsey getting into whisky too.

So envious. I have been house sitting by the side of my best mates property for 4 months in Scotland over winter and doing some building work for him. Another 2 wks then I can really move on and enjoy the summer in my beautiful motorhome ❤

I've got a tow-a-frame A frame fitted to my Aygo X, mine for the first one they did, think they've done a few now.

@@RoamingRadfords Yes really good, tows effortlessly just notice a little on steep up hills. If you are considering getting a car the Aygo/C1/107 are only belted for 4 so you might need to look at a slightly bigger car. It's the same frame that Bob Earnshaw & I think Poshcats use.

We've just had our automatic Aygo modified for a Towaframe. They were excellent, from advice when we were car hunting to the run through once we've had it fitted. There's nothing Mike Northeast doesn't know about A-frames. We've got the one that's so light I can fit it myself aka a 61 year old 5ft 2 weakling.

10 years is the limit for caravans now on most ( holiday) parks then renew them, that is what puts me off owning one has what happens when you spend all that money? Are there sites you can have one forever and do your own repairs, is it if you rent it out so many questions i have.

Like a car, the minute you buy a static it looses half its value. The parks also look to move people on fairly quickly expecting newer models on the sites.

The price of park homes has gone mad. Site fees are range from reasonable to HFM depending on where the home is and then after 5-10 years "it's thinking about changing your home" etc.

Park homes don't have an age limit, they are on sites for life. It's static caravans that have an age limit.

Do you know what the life expectancy of a parkhome is? You said to Lynds 100 years, but I’m sure it’s a lot less than that As a retirement plan - I’d much rather have your bricks and mortar to return too, and out in the van as much as you can. Very good vid 👍
