Necromorphs in their own right, are horrifying as a single body. Composed of boney scythes and large teeth, they have no qualms about tear apart a person quite simplistically. However in an effort to overcome humanity, newer forms would arise that could more easily tear apart a person attempting a defense. Known as the necromorph brute, this creature is composed of several of the fallen. And maintains as much strength as them as well. In today's episode, lets discuss how this works!

Unlike the sun, marker basically emits brain control waves. Hence, pretty much nobody was thinking straight. If they stopped for like 5 seconds and thought about it rationally, they'd probly nuke the marker or just send it into the sun.

Fun fact: On hard you can 1 shot the stronger version of these with a slasher blade throw. I managed to hit the shoulder weak spot from the front in a panic when one showed up and it immediately died.

Hey Roanoke, do you think you could do a biology and morphology explanation for Isaac's infested skin? I know the skin itself likely doesn't merit a video or explanation on to itself being that it's just a skin. But when you consider the text/lore behind the skin, and the Dead Space video you did on the Hunter/Harris, one's mental state seems to have some kind of influence on a human's transformation into a necromorph. Isaac's own drive due to his guilt, trauma, and love for Nicole seems to be the driving force behind his infected form and remaining sentience. I think this would be a fun and interesting topic to follow, should it garner your interest.

Honestly in the dead space universe this idea that humanity would find a inhuman object and actually were able to prove it existed with videos and then come to worship it is such a good story idea. Us humans love to worship things we can’t understand but it just makes sense that the thing that we can’t understand but know for a fact exist would become the most worshipped thing in the galaxy.

This is the first I’ve heard of a Dead space 4 where you killed the moons with a ship like (maybe even) the Ishimura. That would be poetic. We need this. Dead space needs to go on (hopefully they’ve learned a lot of lessons on what works / doesn’t with Dead space 3, Callisto, and remake.) 2 was a direct upgrade to 1.. 3 and the remake had some incredible level design (when out in orbit anyways). Callistos melee system, and 3s weapon building - if refined, could find solid place, and steer the game away from the co-op cover-shooter it was becoming (drop that too - no Co-op, or make it a separate campaign where they can lean heavily into that style of gameplay without diluting the main experience

I honestly think that while attacking the Moons with planet crackers is a really cool setup, it would be really anticlimactic for them to just all be slaughtered that way when DS3 set them up to be this unstoppable, eldritch force. Apparently, the original DS4 draft suggested that there is something *worse* than the moons, which I would love to see come to fruition.

The slasher laying on it answers how the warship fell. It never felt right that a slasher in a escape pod by itself killed every military guy on the ship, but if it could kill just a few and suit up that explains everything.

Hi Roanoke, nice video, always love Dead Space By the way, an interesting fact, the first Brute Necromorph was created by humans, way before the Dead Space/Ishimura accident. Minor spoiler ahead, During the small necromorph outbreak depict in the novel "Martyr", at the end, the "future" Church of Unitology, collected and combine corpses to create an abomination to futher test the Marker's power. And ending the life of our dear protagonist Altman, like the finish move in the video game, ripped apart. One brillant move from the author of this novel, the last chapter and the prologue overlap.

I have been playing my first NG+ to complete my lore collection plus laser cutter only run with the weapon maxed out from my first play through. Lots of reloads for Shoot it in the Back because this big boy kept going down with a flaming shot or 2 to the face because I was hoping to trigger the audio log. Nope, just had to get lucky that it would trigger quickly while running around like a fool while the thing chased me at full speed. SO glad to get that audio log done.

I think you should review the movie called “Night of the Comet” made in 1984, basically a comet was coming by earth and everyone stayed up to watch it except the main characters, when they wake up everything is eerily quiet, nobody was around, until suddenly the characters find that those who saw the Comet became Zombies, but problem is I don’t know how you could explain how the people became zombies. But I think you could make it interesting
