I went from 200 to 860 on the ladder with this deck! I started to play this when all it became legal! I’m switching between path to the peak and those other stadium’s depending on what I’m seeing on the ladder!!! This deck can blind second and it feels good.

Not gonna lie, a move that can inflict 100 points of damage and doesn't need any energy is overpowered. At least it can't do any damage if Electrode doesn't have any ailments.

I love that Christmas dragon shield mat. I had a Halloween dragon shield mat with Halloween time and dragons and candy. But i traded it for a DnD mat that i wanted so much more

Played this deck against LTB and funny enough, Sableye came to the active spot only to realize they don't have 10 cards in the Lost Zone to do Lost Mine attack, so instead Sableye used Scratch to my Hisuian Electrode V and I said "Stop scratching my ball!" 🤣

This is my list. I took out the VIP and Counter Catcher. They aren't needed. even without the pass, I consistently have 3 to 4 on the bench turn 1. I've been really enjoying the new baby toad with king daddy toad. Also Tsareena ex has been super fun, taking 6 prizes while bench locking your opponents is hands down some of the most fun I've had in a WHILE

I'm actually playing a zero energy variant of this with just the Electrode. In a perfect world you can hit for 230 on turn one. As someone who hates Chien-Pao with a passion, it's a glorious thing to take that turn one knock out. I used to play this with Parasect but it's just not good enough without scoop up net available anymore.

Please make a Rabsca deck; get any stage 2, vmax, vstar, mega directly onto the bench. Reversal energy, Togekiss, Gardevoir EX, Shedinja, etc. It allows for much shenanigans, and no one talks about it.

I've been playing this deck and I can tell you that Roseanne's Backup is the absolute best card to play in this deck since you are running pal pad you can get away with running just one.

this deck is much more satisfying than chien or roaring. both those feel clunky and if you get off to a bad start it feels like there isn't much room for recovery. giving up a single prizer even twice in a row with the rods, and the electrode to 300 smash anything (even tsareena and gardevoir with the hisuian sneasler) gives you room for instant recovery. but you'll usually get dinked and tied up or up just one prize at best. that situation is very niche tho. this is smooth. not abhorrent.

I pop in to these videos from time to time just out of curiosity to see how this game has evolved. More of a MTG player and haven't played this in over a decade. I'm am confused on why sooooooooo many trainer cards and next to no energy. Is this the new norm or is it deck specific?

Most decks run abou 8-14 energies, because you don't need that many. There are lots of ways to search out the energies you need.

Compared to Magic, Pokemon essentially has soooo much “free” tutors and wheels as trainers, so really the deck is ~20-30% cards you need, and the rest are ways to find them.

Good against chari and salamance, also only 4 energy, it needa extra atacks and health for single prize matchups. Also, Loosing is winning in this format.

I strongly disagree. Grass hits Roaring Moon and Charizard ex - these two matchups become significantly worse without Electrode V. Plus having a secondary attacker that doesn’t take energy to boot makes the late game so much easier

@@boxkid759 In what way does it benefit? It is the most aggro of aggro decks which typically want to close out games as quickly as possible. The best way to attack in one turn is off DTE, which have limited ways to recycle. Also, it’s a combo that requires several cards, which means when they go down you often have to recycle at least two of the cards - Klawf + DTE, Bonnet + Capsule, etc.
