The simple truth is black fighters are not a draw and can't sell. Arum and Roach have said this before. Mayweather understood this and why he fought non-black fighters on Mexican holidays on ppv. The one fight he had with a black fighter, Berto flopped at the box office. This is why today's black fights like Tank, Haney, Stevenson and even Crawford (clout chasing Canelo) run their mouth outside the ring non stop and clout chase oroclaiming themselves the "face of boxing". Tank's 1.5 mil ppv and Haney's 500k ppv all had a common denominator - Ryan Garcia. Face it! Their fanbases are middling and broke.
