Where do Thanksgiving turkeys come from?
The southwestern domesticate disappeared, and the turkeys eaten today are derived from the Mexican domesticate. Domesticated turkeys made quite a journey to tables in the United States. They were most likely brought from Mexico to Europe and came to the eastern United States by Europeans when they settled the colonies. ***Wikipedia
My version: Roasted in two hours using Saladmaster Turkey Roaster. Unlike other pans, roasting turkey can entail many hours inside the oven, like 4-5 hrs to ensure it's properly cooked....but not with Saladmaster. Roasted/Baked in two hours (lid closed) plus 15 minutes broiling (with an open lid)...THE RESULT??? it is juicy and flavorful and it kept the dignity of the turkey.
