Loved this podcast! Ashly is funny,sweet,and just a nice person. Dont let bird lady occupy your space anymore not worth it. I also had to come back after watching the comedy special with Ashly and it was fantastic! It takes a lot for me to laugh at any comedy special and I was honestly surprised at how much I was laughing! I do enjoy going to comedy clubs and watching comedy shows on line or tv, I’m just not one to laugh out loud I know kind of weird lol my hubby hates going to comedy shows with me for that reason. Anyway Ashly’s comedy special was really really good I highly recommend it. 💜💜😂😂😂😂

My daughter used to put ketchup on her mashed potatoes when she was young and her two brothers used to tell her it was so disgusting and beg me to make her stop.

11:07 not childhood trauma but neurodivergent likely (specifically adhd/autism) in which texture aversion (like easing some foods physically hurts (for me it’s cooked onions and cooked slimy vegetables) and I that texture is avoided because who would want to eat food that causes pain?) and sticking with the eating the same foods over and over again is common as it’s comforting and relaxing. (My sources are much research, and I’m a third year nursing student with autism and adhd and I find the brain very fascinating)

Ashley is making some sweet points that I can not disagree with… I’m on board with her!
