Post-99 skilling for a pet is not valid unless you’re already maxed imo. If you’re not 2277, you have other skills to train before you can get 40m xp going for the nonexistent pet.

You'd prob hate my account, IF you knew how long I'd been playing lol. I've been playing a very very long time, since the start in both RS2 and OSRS and I've never maxed, idk why but it's never been something that's appealed to me. I enjoy levelling a skill to get something out of it that will be useful for me, hence why I have 99 construction, I absolutely love the utility the PoH and cape offers. It's also why my combats are getting close to max, they're useful for me and what I do on my account. Non-combats, I do them for specific unlocks. Like I will level non combats for quests, clues, shortcuts, achievement diaries, unlocks and general convenience. I will also level non combats if I just feel like doing a bit of WC for example, I'll just do a bit of WC, it's how I've always played the game since I was a kid. Tbf my focus has been more on building my bank value and thanks to some good luck, I am able to have fun in content like solo ToA (I don't have full BiS but I have a Shadow and good enough swaps for range and melee and it's really fun to do). Stuff like Herblore, I do herblore, I do my farm runs, but I don't harvest and replant as soon as they grow and I only use disease free patches, I do not have 90 herblore (almost 87), but I also don't do CoX on farm, I do ToA so that's w.e lol. I did get 94 farming off mainly palm trees, calquats and mahogany trees and boosted to 99 with stews to plant all the spirit trees. This is the kind of thing I do, I just do what I need to and maybe one day that will lead me to being maxed but I'll be enjoying myself the entire way so it doesn't matter if I get there or not
