Devastated for him and his family, theres plenty of people out there that do drugs and willing poison themselves for the sake of a "good time" and you get lads like this a man with a family, honest and humble facing this bastard disease head on! What a cruel hand hes been dealt! A top bloke that doesnt deserve this!

Some people have there reason for taking drugs don't sit there judge people why they take drugs people have personal stuff going on in there life's like ie MENTAL HEALTH just because you got feed with silver spoon

It was amazing to see lots of different supporters at headingly to support Rob, It just goes to show that rugby league has the best sportsman/ women and fans in the world and can all come together at tough times like this. We all love ya Rob and we are all behind ya. Keep fighting ✊💙💛🦏

Definitely an emotional punch to the guts. I've never supported Leeds, but like (I suspect) a lot of other clubs' fans, Rob was just too damn likeable to really hold a grudge against. The whole occasion was superb, and many thanks are due to Sky (who showed the match for nothing), Leeds (who put on a magnificent event) and the fans of Leeds and other clubs who created such an atmosphere.

As a Cas fan I always dread Leeds and Rob Burrows but at the end of the day he is family and a cracking player, its absolutely gutting that his time on the field has been cut short. Wish him and his family all the best

Sad thing about this disease is that in the last 3 weeks his voice has gotten worse and he has gotten so skinny. The worst thing is that it will only get worse. The whole rugby family are around him and will be supporting him throughout this awful phase. As Rob said we are a closely knit family
