Luton cannot defend. The relegation writing was on the wall with the throwing away of a 3-0 lead against Bournemouth a few games back. Burnley on current form probably has more of an outside chance to stay up. It's so disappointing end of season for us Luton fans.

Spoke with Ogbene on Thursday afternoon at a nearby store. He said he's back for the last 2 games and the fact that even at this stage of the season, Luton are still in it, is outstanding. He confirmed Eli was back for this game, whom i actually saw leaving the training ground in his car on Tuesday. I predicted Forest will score 0 points in their last 4 games. Ogbene said it only takes one result.

Like I've done for the last 40 years, I will always support Luton irrespective of which division they're in. Although I can't help but think that in trying to adjust and compete in the PL the team has lost its identity - which for the last 10 years has been built on a solid but aggressive defence. The current defence seems timid, lost and confused and looks like it will concede at least 5-6 goals every game. It's a shame because the midfield has generally been outstanding all season - albeit too reliant on a now exhausted Barkley, and the strikers have been effective. Is it mostly down to injuries? Or is defence just not RE's thing? I think the club needs to put all its focus on finding 3-4 defenders from the lower leagues in the summer or they could easily be next year's Rotherham in the Championship.

How many deflected goals this season.. its absolutely infuriating. Glad to see Elijah back. We have to throw the kitchen sink at Everton next COYH

I haven’t given up all hope, just yet. There is one more realistic chance, though. Unless we beat Everton on Friday night, I believe we will get pipped by at least one of Burnley or Forest - who play each other on the final day of the season.

Hello championship we never had the quality to stay up.. two donkeys in defence and not one decent forward was never gonna keep us up

I think the midfield is too lightweight with Clark and Chong playing together, I'd bring Pelly back and save both of them for later in the game, starting with Morris and Adebayo up top together. Doughty looks like he needs a rest, quite a few times today he had space to move forward to receive the ball but held back. Too many times today we lacked an outlet going forward, you could see Ross and Sambi getting frustrated, not really Morris's fault as he was isolated but lack of forwards meant that any press we tried was ineffective or nonexistent.

Another great result not!!.We are down. A while ago I thought we could stay up. But the Bournemouth result 3-0 up,then lose.Totally unexceptable.We were doomed from that.We have had a few hidings since as well. Wolves wasted opportunities with one pass too many 1-2 flattered Luton

Too often we are losing the ball or giving it away cheaply and always in dangerous areas of the park (to us). Our players seem to be slipping at inopportune moments (for us). Too often we are failing to make use of goal-scoring opportunites only for the opposition to go down the other end and score. I wasn't that impressed by a Wolves team that hadn't won in seven games, yet they managed to put two past us. We are 'as-you-were' as far as the table is concerned with Forest having to play City tomorrow. Ironically Burnley are back in the mix and if we were do go down, I would prefer it that Burnley stay up as opposed to Forest. I wonder who was checking the VAR at Molineux?

I bet Burnley go and do it, and Luton and Forest go down
