great respect for the czech lyrics, its a bit tongue twister even for native speaker. the story in short is the knight killing dragon and getting princess but in the socialist czechoslovakia settings , so he uses crop dusting airplane, gets half of a colective farm and sells the Joe from the bogs (jožin z bažin) to a zoo.

ID:107 it is still a folk song it just happens to be kind of silly about murdering people in a swamp... Regardless of what type of song you want to call it I think it is awesome that Metallica is having so much fun... maybe they will do John Mellencamp Guns and Roses or Michael Jackson when they come to Indianapolis... It's a song from like 70's I think, so from at the time Czechoslovakia. At that time it was a pretty normal song, it was pretty big hit here. It was kinda funny but that's how lot of popular music was here at the time. In last few years it became a bit of a meme, someone found it and it started spreading around the world. I'm not even surprised, watch the original video and you will probably end up laughing on the floor and wondering what the fuck is going on :D

So much thought and effort went into this small gem - I'm pretty sure audiences would still have pissed themselves all over Eastern Europe without these small gifts, they could have spared themselves the time, but they still pulled it through.
