Wow. I never knew this song had a video haha. It's always been one of my favorites from Hellbilly Deluxe. But then again, every song from Hellbilly Deluxe has always been one of my favorites from Hellbilly Deluxe. One of the greatest albums of the 90's and the greatest album of Rob Zombie's entire musical career.

Love the artistic direction this video takes by having such a colorful background against rob and the gang. It's a huge contrast and just makes the band look even gritter then usual.

I wish Rob had covered this during the "Gruesome Twosome" Tour. I saw him and Alice Cooper in Springfield Mo. Their performances were still some of the best I've ever seen. Still, this is one of those songs that would have made my bucket list.

This song is about the movie "Corridors of Blood" hence the reference to the characters Ned the Crow and Ressurection Joe.

This song predicted the rise, fall, and release of Joe Exotic........ First, the imagery. Clearly, we can see a person in a tiger suit in the video, dancing nearly the whole time... Also, "Resurrection Joe" applies to Joe Exotic, as he almost died while driving his car off a bridge in his early days, which in turn led to his connection to exotic animals and brought about an entire career and lifestyle; his first "resurrection"! He ultimately "died" again, when he was run off of GW Zoo by Jeff Lowe, and ultimately arrested and incarcerated... In the future, it will refer to his release from prison and return to the spotlight, as his second "resurrection"... The video is set to the stage of a Japanese game show, as they can be absolutely off-the-wall crazy, just like the life of Joe Exotic. I'm not entirely certain what the kanji on the walls says, exactly, but I've no doubt they have something to do with Joe Exotic and/or that bitch Carole Baskin.... Second, the lyrics paint the whole picture of Joe Exotic versus Carole Baskin: >Insane blues at the green man inn Clearly a reference to the insane times at the GW Zoo, as the "green man" is Joe and his nature-based business, and his "inn" is the zoo... >Cut the lights and pray that you're dead The overall feeling every night after working long hours for little pay and living in some not-great conditions, surviving off the Walmart expired meat truck, etc... >Opium dreams through the seven dials The meth and drug use at the zoo. Opium is referenced simply as imagery, not as an exact reference. The "seven dials" are a reference to the many "husbands" Joe has had. Not exactly seven, but again, imagery... >And feel the pillow over your head A reference to Joe's second partner waking him up with a gun to his head. >Rachel hide from Ned the Crow This is a reference to Saff losing her (his*) arm; it was a potentially fatal event, thus she is "hiding" from "Ned the Crow", a harbinger of death... >Keen eye on the peelers The zoo's handling of incidents throughout the zoo's history; trying to keep a keen eye on those who would wish to bust the zoo wide open for journalistic, litigatory, political, or criminal investigative purposes... Still, as said above, future predicting is hard and complicated, so you can't blame Zombie for misrepresenting Saff's gender identity 15 years before it even happened. I had some tapes and four CD's ... Mostly remixes and an excellent DVD. I like the old stuff and don't think the new ones are even him. Love the supernatural visuals in the lyrics ... Would get everything out every Halloween -- awesome DVD of videos. Loved White Zombie as a teenager. Money well spent.
