Honestly no. This is right around the time he grew up and just changed physically and mentally into something different. 2phoneShawty is a decent newer song by him but honestly I’m not really about his new stuff :/ some of his lyrics are solid but it’s just a totally different sound and vibe. I appreciate that he’s continued to evolve his craft and rap game but let’s be real young Robb Bank$ was fire, the whole drugged out manic teenager thing was a vibe and he doesn’t even sound the same anymore. As far as I know he can’t even really perform his old music anymore and if he does it sounds very different because he’s a very different person in a lot of ways and he’s tried to distance himself from his older stuff if I understand the situation correctly. He’s publicly stated he raps about what he’s feeling and going through in the moment and he just doesn’t feel the way he used to feel and that’s cool I get it. I still wish I would’ve seen a young Robb banks in concert, I could just envision him opening his set with look like basquiat and the whole fucking crowd just bouncing during the opening of that track. Shit would be wild
